Giving this place four stars because we haven’t eaten here only had some beers which is so much fun. The set up is so cute with long tables outside. Selection of beers on draft are great. The happy hour is a great deal also. It’s definitely a fun place. Tuesday nights they do trivia!

Was hoping to grab a bite to eat here on a recent visit from Fort Lauderdale, but the kitchen was closed(it was a Sunday afternoon) do to the lack of patrons … So the kitchen cook went home. I grabbed a quick beer. I was happy to see that they had a vast array of micro-brews on tap, including Broward-based 26 Degrees. So I grabbed a beer at the bar, drank it slowly, and then departed. It’s important to note that you need to pay in cash if you don’t order more than $ 10 worth of beer and food. The bartender, who was very friendly, alerts you of this in the early stages of your visit. Not sure if I will return to this place. Not clear what distinguishes it from JJ Muggs, which is right next door.

Mixed review. The food was good. Maybe a little over priced. But not a German beer in the place. Not even a Bitburger. Not even Becks. No German atmosphere. Why would you name it «Das Biergarten»? It’s like naming a place«The Sports Bar» and not having any TV’s.

Terrible. 2 strikes and I’m done. First time I go and they don’t have over 50% of beers on their menu. Today we go after civil society and again ask for their specialty burger and the owner tells me after I order my beers to go with the burgers that they are out of their bacon jam. Good way to run a business ! Advertise stuff you don’t have and tell your customers you didn’t have time to make it is unacceptable in my book. I don’t want an advertised product when you don’t have the main ingredient to it amd act surprised when I don’t want something else.

I can understand the inconsistency in reviews. This is a small local place. Some people are going to be much happier at a large corporate chain where beverage, food, and service is all standardized at the headquarters in Kansas. Me, I don’t mind some minor issues if the end result is good. My visit was delightful, even if they did run low on beer. I was in the area for a Spring Training game. I arrived early and hadn’t eaten lunch. I went looking and stopped when I found Das Biergarten. It seemed perfect. I got a elk bratwurst«hash» — a sausage with some hash browns, an egg, and some sauce. A perfect brunch meal. It was excellent. They were down to a half-dozen beers on tap, but I found one I liked, but couldn’t have a second because the tap went dry. An emergency delivery was due in that afternoon. The bartender, a young woman, was very knowledgeable of beer and the industry. She worked to find me a bottle I might like. We settled on something a little different that I enjoyed sampling, a brew from Founders. I had never had something from Founders before. Friendly people working hard. A nice little business. Sure, some imperfections(a tap running dry) but I’ll overlook that minor issue when I’m having a great time eating and drinking and being treated very well. Though a warning: some people might be more comfortable at an Appleby’s or Cracker Barrel. For example, they don’t serve soda at Das Biergarten.

Das bier garden if there were a German word for home and there is its gemütlichkeit or das. When you enter you feel like you have entered a local gem where everybody will know your name. In fact the 2nd time I entered I was greeted to a cheer simular to Norm from cheers. I later came to know that I was being greeted by the self proclaimed Das varsity lead by the mayor of Abacoa. They are a very welcoming group and any stranger gets treated like family by them and the staff. On to the bar and service. This bar has almost 40 taps 2nitro or ultra premium craft beers both local and world wide. In fact it shocked me that they had beers I have waited in line for hours to try on tap and a full pint mind you. The bartenders are all knowledgeable about the beers there serve. Jordan is a blast to talk to behind the bar and for you ladies I think he used to be a Chippendale dancer. I love the old school chalk board that has the draft list. Feels much more welcoming that large TV screens with a PowerPoint of the beers. Happy Hour is the best deal around Bogo all day ipa from founders. The food, David Schroeder is not afraid to push boundaries and try to make new culinary delights in fact I had his in house smokedpulled pork sandwich amazing or that one time they made chicken and waffles with a founders curmudgeon reduction syrup. The even have local breweries come in and do food pairing dinners. I hear they are doing one soon with funky Buddha maple bacon coffee Porter soon. I am for sure getting my seat for that. Over all if you are looking for a wide selection of rare and great craft beers on tap while still being treated like one of the family. Stop by Das bier garden and talk to the varsity members or Jordan while enjoying an adventurous culinary experience with a well pairs beer. Prost, cheers, salud, etc

Special place… Beer choices like Christmas every week with new choices ! People who come to Das are looking for craft beer and nice complimentary food… THEY find it! Then the best part… Amazing people run this place and the groups of folks that come experience Das experience a «special place that serves food and beer»! I love Das!

Great beer selection! Bartenders are always super helpful and nice. We have gone to trivia on Tuesday nights and have always had a good time. The pretzels are great too! If you like chill bars and good beer you won’t be disappointed.

No German beer, no table service, food takes forever. This is a perfect case study for that bar rescue show. Food sub par… The person who commented from this establishment is a liar.

The appetizer took more than an hour to arrive and after that we had to wait 50 minutes for two burgers. No matter how nice the waitress is or how good the beers are… I don’t think I will give it another try

Worst experience ever. We wanted a bite to eat and the waitress says, we’re out of this and this. Ok, can I get a beer? It’s $ 12 for a pitcher or $ 5 for a pint. Husband and I say pitcher since we’re both drinking it. It’s kicked. So only husband gets bottom of keg. I order some other beer, kicked. Wtf? She gives both to us for free. I leave $ 5 tip since I know she’ll be transitioning to another job soon because this fucking place should’ve been out of business a while ago. Do not eat/drink here.

I went to catch some football with my cousin. I found this place to have excellent service and food. The owner and staff are very courteous and provide a great atmosphere. I will definitely go there again. The draft beer was top notch and I had the homemade smoked wings and«three little pigs» burger. Both delicious :)

I’d love to tell you anything about this restaurant, however every time I tried to call to place an order for pick up, it went right to a voicemail telling me they were unavailable. Guys.unprofessional.

The biergarten was on my list for a must visit. I yearned for some German bier, gimme a dunkle. We walked in and the birthday crowd looked at us like we were interlopers. almost wanted to say… what? Ya know with ‘tude. The b’tender was less then helpful. we winged it. There were local beer choices. but not a true German bier, witbier and the IPAs… no dunkel.boo. I do love the local stuff, not a complaint. Due South is top shelf. We did a pretzel, very good, $ 2 burger night that we found out by eavesdropping on other customers, seriously it’s not a secret… or is it??? The burger was good, but it sat on the counter for 5 minutes before I asked if they were ours… yes they are. Great. The bar was busy, gotta say. They are in the process of changing the menu, you wanna make a difference? Put a waitress on… seriously. It’s a bar called a biergarten.

I came here today with a group for the sole purpose of having beers and watching a soccer game. The bartender graciously put on our game with the audio and the beers were great. Love how they support local brews. Two of our group ordered food and really enjoyed the sausage platter and their flatbreads. Overall, would definitely come back again to watch a soccer game and hopefully next time be able to play on their shuffleboard!

This place was bad then it was good then it was bad. When they have beers they have beers when they don’t it’s a dud.

I picked Das Biergarten yesterday because I found it first here on Unilocal, and REALLY wanted some good German food(some brats, maybe a little spaetzle, and of course some sauerkraut… along with a good pilsner.) But all I got here was a good German pilsner(Bitburger to be exact…) I was served up at the bar immediately by Bobby, and started perusing the nice array of goodies(mostly bar snacks and finger food) on the menu. I got Bobby’s attention again and ordered the beer cheese soup. «Oh, sorry, all out of that.» OK, then how about the Jagerschnitzel? «Ummm, possibly not, let me go check…» So out comes a young lady who said she ‘could make it up for me’(hmmm, that should have been my sign to finish the beer and go somewhere else.) So I agreed, and added to that a small salad(vinaigrette) and enjoyed more of my beer and the many decorations adorning this establishment. Out came the ‘baby’ salad… pretty much just arugula and spinach, with a ‘hint’ of vinaigrette dressing(spray on, maybe?) Hmmm. So I started on that. Then the Jagerschnitzel came out. Another big hmmm. Two formerly frozen breaded boneless pork chops, with a little gravy on top, sitting on a bed of white potatoes, with a generous portion of red cabbage on the side. The schnitzel was warmish, the potatoes were either steaming hot or ice cold(depending upon which one you picked,) and the red cabbage was, how do I say it, ‘synthetic’ tasting. Pretty much a lousy meal… especially for $ 14.00! So I ate the luke-warm schnitzel, had a few of the warmer potatoes, and maybe a fork load or more of the gnarly red cabbage, finished my pils, and got out of there. Thankfully my brother called me and gave me an out(but not before talking to a few other patrons about other restaurants in the area that I should patronize.) Bobby did say they were redoing the menu… so a lot of the things were not going to be available… and I can see why. Do not go here for food. Go here for beer(a rather HUGE selection of draft and bottles.) Then get you beer and take it outside and sit out there and drink it but only after walking down the street and bringing food from another restaurant! If you can’t make decent, presentable, tasty, and properly priced food, then put the menus away. Do not fool people. 3 Stars for the vast selection of beers, and the honest bar patrons who steered me to other establishments in Jupiter and West Palm Beach.

I’ll try to make this review nice and simple, like Das Biergarten. Great selection of beer and ciders, good food, and decent service. I’m a big fan of their dogs, especially the Fritto Pie and New York ones. Credentials: I’m from Wisconsin, the land of cheese, beer, and brats. ;)

My husband and I just moved to Jupiter this past week and after a long day of painting we were sick of fast food and needed to get out for a drink. We went to Das Biergarten on a Tuesday night around 8:30pm and while it was pretty quiet, we were ok with that. We were happy with their large beer selection. I wish that they had a cider on draft, but was glad they at least had a few in bottles. My husband had one of the crazy hot dogs with chilli and cheese(can’t remember which one) and I had their beef sliders. Both plates hit the spot and were great for a quick stop. Glad to see a nice little beer spot like this in Abacoa and hope others open up as well!
