A must stop shop for whenever I am in the Jupiter area. Sure, if can get hot because of the open kitchen concept, no air conditioning, and real walls, but it is worth every drop of sweat that may incur. It is always busy, so make sure to put your name on the board to reserve a seat, or, just grab a spot at the bar! Waffle fries and onion ring basket are a must! I’ve had their hot dogs, burgers, as well as patty melts and I have NEVER been disappointed. Service is always friendly and extremely fast. Décor and overall style suit well for the beach by area it is located in! The walls will certainly keep you entertained with the goofy signs and décor!

The service was awesome! After fishing all morning and into the afternoon I was craving a hambuger and not just a run of the mill hambuger! I looked at the menu and knee this is where I wanted to eat! I was not disappointed the service was quick, the beer was cold and my cabbage patch hambuger was perfect! The place was packed so that is always a good sign! We will be back again! Thanks for the awesome service!

Love it! It’s always crowded but they do a great job of getting you in within 10 – 20 min usually. The all you can eat ribs fall off the bone and all of the sides are all you can eat also. Whaaaaaa?! You can even switch them up. They don’t have stupid rules like other places. They legit just want to feed you while you hang out. The ribs are better than at Park Ave BBQ and the coleslaw is the best we’ve ever had. The waffle fries are just as good, if not better than chick-fil-a’s. We love Jade as a waitress! You want for nothing. She’s got a great chill laid back personality, always smiling and happy to help. She pays attention and brings you refills, etc without us even asking. We’ve also had the fried clam strips(yum) and the dolphin salad(huge fresh piece of fish, great gourmet salad) and my mom from out of town still raves about the crab cakes! Each day of the week they have specials so view the menu on Unilocal or their website. We went early on a weekend and it was minimal waiting. We can’t wait to try what their known for which is hot dogs, however, we keep finding more things to try! I love that you can come here in a swimsuit cover up and flip flops. The picnic table style give a chill vibe but the food is anything but lax. Great food, great service, great place!

Dune Dogs is the first place I bring my friends and family to. Whether out-of-towners or locals, I promptly drag them into my favorite place in town, order a few local beers, and just enjoy the setting. Most people wouldn’t expect much from the looks of the place, but the fact I can roll in straight off the beach and look the way I want is a plus for me! Not to mention the portion sizes are gigantic! They have a huge variety and everything is beyond delicious. Not to mention their Happy Hour is affordable and fantastic, and their Monday-Thursday nightly specials are out of this world. My boyfriend and I are there almost every Tuesday for their two-for-one dinner! The only downside is that it is very close to the road so there is some noise, and the place is so busy that there is always a wait and typically parking can be a bit of a challenge to find.

What a fun place. We love the atmosphere and we crave the food. Be prepared for a wait during peak times.

Stopped by again with a group of twelve, and we were all starving(diving makes you hungry!). They were packed… so as the first one there, I got us on the waiting list. The wait wasn’t bad… about twenty minutes or so, which gave everyone else a chance to get there. Service was good… and we ordered a wide variety of food… hot dogs, burgers, patty melts, nachos, and more. Food was good, and made us all happy! If you are in the area, it is worth the wait! There is a reason they are always packed!

We’ve been meaning to come up here for the past year, and I’m glad we finally did. Food was excellent and the service was great. Beer was yummy and the price was extremely fair! We had the half slab ribs, killer dog and the junkyard dog, one beer and one soda(under $ 30).

This place highly disappointed us. From the get go, it was a long wait, the order was messed up by the waitress, the food was largely marginal even though it was very simple. I will say the best thing about this lunch was our company.

Went on Monday night for Rib-o-Rama, unlimited baby back rib! Ribs were hot and delicious every round, sauce was amazing… Make sure you arrive early, the line goes around the corner every night. definitely worth the wait though.

We love the casual outside dining. A favorite lunch stop before or after the beach is a must here! This is our favorite eatery every time we visit family in Jupiter. I’ve enjoyed the tasty burgers and my son has enjoyed them as well as the hotdogs. The waffle fries are fresh, hot and tasty! You don’t really care about the hour wait because the atmosphere is inviting and tropical.

Dune Dog is the place where all the cool people hang out! Best food ever! Talk about casual dining, you can come here in your bathing suit, or in your most casual attire, and still get on with your day, or night afterward. Not the place for air conditioning but there is always an awesome breeze and plenty of fans that it’s never ever hot or sticky and humid in this place. Best grouper(and other kinds of fresh fish) right off the boat — you’ll never have a better fish and chips anywhere in all of South Florida. The portions are incredible. Best beer on draft(or if you like milk shakes, or ice cream), this is the place to take a day off from the gym and enjoy life! The ribs were off the chain awesome. The cole slaw is made everyday in-house and it tastes like it. Love them ribs! They run specials on the ribs. Trust me… if you go here once, it won’t be your last time. The guys in the kitchen are the bomb diggity, the staff is bar none that best in town, to be on their toes all the time and get you what you need. Hardest working staff in town. Pleasant staff also. If deciding to go to a local restaurant instead of feeding into the big corporate giants, we prefer to go to Dune Dog hands down!!! You can sit at the bar and eat comfortably, or choose to sit at a table. Oh yeah, and they play Jimmy Buffet, and Sublime and Bob Marley, and all the good beachey tunes too! Doesn’t get any better than Dune Dog. The place is decorated with the best, brightly-colored signs, and surf boards, and it’s just awesome.

This place is popular and, I guess, trendy. I found the food greasy, the service impersonal, the eating area sloppy and unmaintained enough. Sorry, but plastic and paper everything and throw-away serving stuff at the prices they ask… is undesirable. Fish-and-Chips is an oil-only taste and a small portion. Other meals received no accolades. Even the beer was warm. Prepare for a crowd and a line most times. Parking can be challenging. I try many BBQ pits, dives, small neighborhood bars, food wagons, out-of-the-way stops. Informal and well-worn is definitely ok and I don’t need fancy if the food is good. The food at Dune Dogs just isn’t — to my taste.

Dune Dog is the best lunch spot in Jupiter(well, right behind Food Shack) to grab an ice cold beer and to get down on some seafood, some dogs and fried stuff. Their waffle fries are always cooked to crispy perfection and topped with a special salty-paprika-y seasoning that makes my mouth water! Sitting in the open air under their hut is so refreshing and even though you’re looking at Alt A1A, you feel like your on a tropical island. Always try their chowders and bisques, they’re not shy with the flavor and the lobster bisque is some of the best I’ve had. The footlong junkyard dog is also killer with chili, cheese, onion and Dot’s sauce on a buttered/toasted Texas toast roll — amazing. My husband is obsessed with their lobster roll. Let me also mention the incredible quality and quantity you get for affordable prices; best bang for your buck in all of Jupiter!

Don’t let the fact there is no air conditioning stop you from visiting. The fans are going, service is fast and you feel like your at the beach. We tried Yankee nachos, Leroy brown dog and big kahuna burger. All were great, no complaints and we will be back again. Must try!

3.5 for Dune dogs which is a beach shack themed joint churning out American staples. Hamburgers, ribs, hot dogs etc. We came here with big appetites after mountain biking all morning at johnathan dickensons and showed up to what seemed like a huge wait. They have a self sign in sheet and the wait actually went much quicker than anticipated. Maybe 15 mins max. Once we sat down I got a monk in the trunk brew and decided to get a couple«dogs». I got the southwest dog, which was basically a chili dog with cheese and a Chicago dog. The BF got a corn dog and a southwest. We shared a basket of waffle fries. The food came out lightening fast and was good. I normally don’t really like hot dogs or even chili but it was very tasty. The BF also had no complaints. They have signs everywhere about different weekday specials and if I lived In the area it would be a solid place to catch a quick bite. I just wouldn’t make a long haul from outside town to come here. When in the area check them out for a dog or 2!

Dune Dog has it going on because of the atmosphere and vibe although it is an odd setting. It’s very tropical with a busy(by Jupiter standards) highway out front and it’s bordered on one side by an alley with an auto parts store on the other. Oh, and don’t forget the railroad track, with trains across the street. No fancy waterfront view here, but the place kind of acts like it’s on the water. My very first meal was a burger which didn’t impress. Guess I couldn’t decide, although other things seemed more of a specialty, I went with a burger as you’d expect it to be bulletproof. It wasn’t. We did however spot someone having a humongous, delicious looking plate of fish and chips and when we recently returned, we were not disappointed. The two large pieces of fish(skate I think) are perfectly thinly breaded and fried, served with a large portion of waffle fries(good, but nothing special and likely frozen) and some really delicious cole slaw. My DC and I brought home one and a half of these gigantic fillets. The beer is cold or it may just seem that way because this joint is hot in June. It has some ceiling fans but no ocean breeze. But, they also don’t charge waterfront prices. Lots of different daily specials are available. It’s all about fun here in this city/tropical setting. Have a beer or two and wait for the 7:38 to come barrelling through.

Enormous Portions! I almost fall out of the chair when receiving the crunchy fish and chips and seeing that it included(2.5) nearly a foot long fish fillets! OMG. What a great value. The fish was fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and moist inside. The service was friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is fun and extremely casual.

I am revising my review downward because of the service vibe. My experience during my second visit was a rushed transaction during a non-busy time. When a server asks you a question and walks away before you can even give an answer — more than once — for me, it brings back memories of some of the lousiest servers I’ve encountered. I was actually interested in purchasing a souvenir t-shirt. But the way I was being rushed forward to pay-up and get out changed my mind. The hell with it. My «naked dog» was small this time. I didn’t understand that. She said I ordered a regular. I’m still confused. The chocolate milkshake gave me more satisfaction. But overall, I went out of my way to come back here and I just didn’t enjoy my visit as much this time.

Only came in for a beer but this place has the best laid back attitude you want at the beach While not directly on the beach or near anything else for that matter, this beach shack is open air restaurant with lots of colorful beach Décor. There is plenty of parking but a wait to be seated I will try to get back to try their food but judging by the family groups waiting around the pare meter to get in I expect the menu to be good
