I am a transplant from the NYC/CT area. Good Chinese is a staple in our diet. Until I discovered this place, I thought I would only ever have Chinese if I went back to NY! When I saw the Chinese Zodiac placemats and the fried noodles with hot mustard or duck sauce to dip them in, I knew I’d be happy with this place. My 2 go to items are egg roll and General Tsao’s chicken. Many places I’ve tried in south Florida fail at both of these! They are usually soggy and flavorless. This place… Not the case! Crispy tasty egg rolls and crispy chicken with a nice kick were all I needed to make me want to drive an hour or so to eat here again. Believe me you, I will be back!

Had the dim sum basket. There were three of each of four yummy dim sum. Vegetables with water chestnuts, pork, shrimp and beef. My friend had the General tso chicken. It was very crispy and not batter heavy. I has seafood over pan fried noodles in a white sauce. Very light and yummy with crunchy vegeTables.

First and foremost, I am a seasoned Foodie with extensive knowledge in the restaurant biz. I am NOT overly critical, demanding, or picky so here is my honest and forthright review. I was soon looking forward to finding a good Chinese joint in North Palm Beach… The Good; Seated right away, nice menu, good dim sum. Steamed BBQ Pork Bun, Pork Dumplings, and Chicken Sticky Rice. The Bad; We were the youngest people in the place at 51 and 53, not much atmosphere, pretty incompetent waiter who did not know the menu or what to suggest, Chicken Sticky Rice had shrimp in it which I am deadly allergic to(menu does not mention this), General Tsoa Chicken was dry and hard. Fried rice side had some tasteless frozen peas and carrots in it and was overall bland. When I mentioned the shrimp(and dry, hard G.T. chicken) the female hostess(owner) stated that that’s how sticky rice is made and was very defensive. When I told her I am highly allergic to shrimp, she tried to place the blame on me by saying I should have informed my server. Wow. Won’t be going back…

We just tried to get in. There were 2 empty tables and they would not seat our party of 4. They said they were holding the larger tables in case a bigger party came in and wanted us to go on a waiting list. We have been there on a number of occasions and will NOT be returning. The food in the past has been just ok but there is a much nicer place nearby that we had to go to when these people refused to seat us. We went to the China Pavilion at Rt. 1 and Indiantown Rd. See my review of that place. 1000 times better.

We once again had an off takeout meal… It is definitely the effect of season on the quality of the food… They were packed and the food quality suffered. Unfortunately another local place to avoid when the snowbirds and tourists are here… Please can you all go home now?

We love this place! Everything is always delicious and the owner is so sweet! She always comes to our table to say«hello“and dotes on my daughters making them feel extra special. Take-out is also the way to go here. The portions are so good that we always seem to have leftovers.

Very good food with many authentic Cantonese items on the menu. The help is friendly! The place is tiny so with good food expect a wait.

DONOTGOHERE! We had a reservation that they did not honor. Gave our table away and didn’t tell us; we waited 40 minutes and could have gotten take out in that time. Very very disappointed.

I’m not usually big on Chinese food but my co workers decided this was want we wanted today and I was outvoted !!! I’m totally glad that I was outvoted. The food here is so good. The rice wasn’t too oily and the food wasn’t too salty. I enjoyed the hell out of it. My only little drawback was the smell of the restaurant. It just had a weird smell that almost made me want to just leave me food. By the time I got back to my office, I forgot all about the smell and was just enjoying the smell and taste of my food!!! Anytime I’m in the mood for Chinese(and am at work), I would definitely come here again…

Reasonably priced, good tasting Chinese food. I ordered chicken and broccoli with fried rice and fried pork dumplings. It’s not often that fried rice comes as an option with your entrée instead of just white or brown, so I was very pleased that it was possible. I devoured the dumplings and you could definitely tell they were homemade. I should mention that the dumplings are huge! As an avid dumpling consumer, I will have to order these again. Everything reheated well the next day, which is an essential component of ordering Chinese in the first place, and the food was tasty the first night I ate it! It’s hard to find good Chinese food in Florida but this place is great!

I’ve been here 4 times now and the food is definitely what keeps me coming back. I’ll start with the positive! As soon as you sit down you are greeted quickly and brought a basket of fried wontons with a hot mustard sauce and a sweet sauce. Delicious. I always say I won’t finish the basket, always do! Next drinks, they have a split of one of my favorite champagnes so that’s a huge plus! We’ve ordered dim sum and an array of dishes that have always been great! The negative. This pertains to my visit tonight. I really wanted the broccoli in brown sauce and on the menu it’s listed as broccoli in brown sauce with chicken is 11 dollars add beef or shrimp it’s 14. I asked our server if I could just get the broccoli with no protein. She said yes, I asked what the difference in price would be and she said it’s still 11 something. I really wasn’t pleased that I’d be paying 11 for a plate of broccoli but I really wanted it. Ordered. About ½ way through I found a giant chunk of chicken. Which makes me think, this was ordered as usual and the chicken was picked off when it came up in the kitchen but a chunk was forgotten. I asked for our server to come over but instead I had to explain this to a completely different waiter. He asked if I wanted a refire and I just asked to remove it from our bill. Original waitress never apologized. Nothing. So not pleased. I’ll have to remind myself how good the dim sum is for my return.

It was Chinese New Year(year of the sheep) and I had been craving for some dim sum and good steamed meat buns. Then I came across William R.‘s review about this place and this is the second time I have trusted his review and has proven right. While they don’t serve traditional dim sum by rolling the carts and checking/stamping off a slot card, they still offer an assortment variety basket. Not the best I have had but for the area here, it is decent and the only one who serves both Chinese Cantonese-style food and a variety of dim sum. If you truly know any homemade Cantonese-style dishes, you can custom order and they will make it for you, too. You might even surprise your waiter/waitress if you ask for custom dishes, and speaking a little bit of Mandarin goes a long way. My experience here was a fun and memorable one. Family owned and the server who took care of my guests and me was in good spirits and humorous, too. I can’t say that there is a dish that stood out to be horrible. I mean, it is your typical dine in Chinese restaurant(no buffet-style) and I saw all ages last night, too so it isn’t only subjected to one type of crowd. Everyone is welcome. One of the best dishes that we ordered was Peking duck and what struck me odd was that the plate the duck was served on came with an extra pair of legs… but I’m not going to complain, lol! The duck meat was tender and the skin was crispy. That sweet honey mayo sauce used for the walnut-glazed shrimp dish was amazing! I have shellfish allergy but that dish was worth trying. The shrimp were fresh, too. The steamed buns and dim sum steamed dumplings were delicious. It was cooked properly; the meat, dumpling skin, and buns weren’t overcooked and hardened, they were just right. The steamed Chinese broccoli looks like American spinach but really good. The stalks were like rock but the leaves were seasoned well and flavorful. Pretty much everything on their menu is really good so you shouldn’t have to worry about getting a bad dish or having a bad experience dining here. The only thing that was missing from the dessert and beverage menu was some good olé bubble tea.

I’ve been to Hong Kong and China, and I’ve eaten in the best Chinese restaurants in America. Sadly, Florida has few good ones. Hong Kong Wok n’ Grill is one of the few excellent Chinese restaurants in Florida(the other one is Uncle Tai’s). The Hong Kong Wok n’ Grill was a tasty treat with excellent dim sum, including Har gow, siu mei, and char sui bow. The hot and sour soup was as good as any I’ve had, and the egg rolls were crunchy and tasty. We also had moo shut pork and pork fried rice, both delightful. If you live in Florida and love Chinese food, this is a good place for lunch or dinner. Or, you could just hop a flight to New York or San Francisco…

Excellent Dim Sum although I was a little confused. We ordered Shrimp Dumplings, Shrimp and Chive Dumplings and Vegetable Dumplings. What came out were Pork and Shrimp Dumplings, I had to refuse these, Shrimp and Spinach, these were fantastic and we ordered another round, and Vegetable, also really tasty. The sauce was perfectly spicy with real chilies floating around it. Don’t eat these they will burn, I know I did it by accident. We also got Vegetable Moo Shu and it was as good as I have ever had. The food is presented beautifully and the portions are huge. Having bubbles on the wine list is never a miss. The service is courteous and prompt. I will be back for sure.

With Asian fusion all the rage it’s refreshing to find a high quality real Chinese restaurant that doesn’t have Sushi or Kimchi on the menu or a Hibachi over in the corner. On an earlier visit we had their beef Chow Fun, broad rice noodles cooked perfectly, tender beef and a darker than usual tasty sauce. It’s a favorite of ours and was just delicious. The General Tso’s chicken was crispy and maybe some of the best we ever had. This week we had their value priced lunch special; a «normal» size egg roll, choice of flavorful soup, good sized entrée and actual fried rice — not just dark white rice. The place is new looking, fresh and comfortable and because we were in a real«old school» Chinese restaurant, we went with traditional items; Pork Egg Foo Young which was perfectly cooked to the point that the edges were crispy and Sweet & Sour Pork with each piece of pork perfectly trimmed along with red and green peppers and pineapple. With the very friendly staff, excellent food and reasonable pricing, we’ll be regulars and look forward to working our way through their menu.
