A1 Expert Appliance

I hired this company to do a repair on a washer. The person was about six hours late, and did not resolve the issue. He actually created more problems for me, I had to have another company come out to resolve all issues. I would not recommend this company; unfortunately, I paid them $ 85.00 for nothing. I am going to report them to BBB and the Attorney General, as they claim they are state licensed and certified.

I recently had a bad experience with this company (A1 Expert Appliance). I spoke to Jim or Bill from this company on a Thursday afternoon regarding a washer that I would be purchasing. He promised me that he would delivery it on Saturday afternoon and would take a look at a dryer that I already had to see if he could repair it. I agreed. When Saturday afternoon came I got a no call no show, until later that evening I finally received a phone call. He allegedly claimed to be on another job call that was taking longer than usual and stated he would be able to come out that night if that was okay with me. Again I agreed. After all I really needed this washer. When later on that night came yet again no show, instead I got a call from him letting me know that «IF» I wanted the washer still he would come out Sunday around 11:30am 12:30noon. I agreed once again! When Sunday came he called me once more around 1:30pm with another excuse letting me know that he was barely making it into his shop and that he could get to my place to deliver the washer around 3pm. At this point as anyone would have been, I was super frustrated and annoyed as I had canceled any activities I had going on for either days (Saturday & Sunday). Finally he got here at 4:15pm! I had already given up hope. However I got back into the spirit and stayed optimistic… That didn’t last long. He called me, to let me know he was outside (which by the way was really rude), I figured he must have been having a bad day which is only understandable (we’re only human). However unacceptable, poor costumer service skills. To make matters worse when he came inside to scout the lay out and see where he would be laying down the goods, he takes a quick almost effortless eyeball at my wide enough staircase, tells me the following: «this is what I can do for you, I can bring the dryer in here (my living room) but you would have to get someone else to help you bring it down, Or we can cancel this deal right now.» I stood there almost in dis-​believe in what I was being told and how rude and ignorant this man was being. Only thing that could come out of my mouth at that time was «I don’t have any use for it in my living room». At which point I Hadn’t even finished saying it when he did an about face and walked out of my house. If I were you and am in need of an appliance, I would be better off going straight to a department store or shopping for it through the department store online. I would never recommend A1 Expert Appliance for any services or products to anyone. I wish I would have read their reviews on Unilocal before considering them.

This company is a scam, has multiple phone numbers but doesn’t return any phone calls. He charged me 73.00 but then never returned to actually fix anything. he won’t return calls. I am complaining to Attorney General, Better Business bureau, etc. At this point three weeks later, I want my money back but doubt if that will happen.

Same day service… well he did come by but it was a waste of money. Took all of 10 seconds to tell me i needed a new computer for the fridge. Didn’t test anything and didn’t ask about what lead up to the issue. I just paid him the service charge and sent him on his way.
Spoke to another company the next day and the issue was very simple — glad I did not pay any more here than I had to and would recommend anyone else.
