Best pizza in the area. If you like thin crust this is the place. The sauce is great and the cheese just right.

We had them cater on Sat. They were prompt and they really delivered. I received the most compliments on their Italian sausage cooked in olive oil with tons of peppers. My favorite was the fried chicken, crisp on the outside and juicy inside. We also had the beef, which was lean and tendér. Would not hesitate to order again. This is the first time we used them for catering but order their superb thin crust pizzas often.

Ordered pizzas here today! Here’s my breakdown the 2 pizzas I receive had plenty of cheese the toppings were adequate however. The very obvious basil base sauce was lacking as far as sauce and it had way too much basil! Both of my children complained the pizza had a lingering aftertaste I believe it might be the basil! the only words my wife had was not impressed ! I personally felt that sauce the little that there was. Was a touch on the acidic side. I will however complement the fact that pizza crust was perfect!

Love the pizza, lasagna, chicken parmigiana and the meatballs. Beef sandwich is a little on the salty side. Super nice people.

One reason to eat John Gino’s pizza, they use fresh mushrooms. That may not seem like a big deal to some but to me it’s major. My husband and I went to Palermos he raved about how good the pizza is and their sauce, their veggie pizza had mushrooms out of the can… sick. I’ve been here quite a few times, the pizza is always consistent. The customer service has always been great with me. That’s enough to keep me coming back. The pizza is not greasy which I like and they are 5 minutes from home. If you live closer by and want pizza fast this is a good place to stop by. I’m moving soon, would I travel from my new location to get pizza from here, no but that is because I’m moving about 10 miles away and it’s not worth the drive to me when I will be living by a lou malnatis. Still a darn good place to get a pizza fix close by for a reasonable price.

One of my friends gave me the menu to take home and try this place and I’m glad she did, my fiancé had a taste for lasagna so that is what we ordered and it was GREAT!!! Haven’t tried their pizza yet, but we will be coming there soon again, that’s for sure!!! I love this place Also, what’s awesome is if you keep 15 of their receipts, you will get a 16 inch pizza free! Lol! Also, very friendly customer service!

I am very picky about my vegetable pizza and I have to say this was the best I’ve had in many years. I’ll be a returning customer for sure! I can’t wait to try to their other menu items.

We ordered it for our wrestling tournament this past Sunday, $ 800+ worth of pizza. All the parents and wrestlers there asked where it was from they loved it. The delivery driver also had no problem bringing all the pizzas upstairs to where our concessions was even though we offered to help. Very nice people working there. We even ended up ordering it for the after party.

Phenomenal food. Great prices, and great customer service. I would recommend even over Fasano’s. This is great pizza, and their deep dish is rather unknown and that is amazing as well. Check these guys out

Had the extra thin, it was mediocre and for a large the pizza was pretty small, about the size of a tombstone, I’ll get Papa Pizzanos for now on

Had the extra thin pizza and it was horrible. It wasn’t crispy, the sauce tastes like it came from a can and too much cheese. I thought I would never say that but the cheese was just caked on and overpowered everything. Very disappointed. Also had the bread sticks and they had no flavor.

Lets put John Gino’s on the map! My father lives right down the street so when I’m back for a visit this is the pie we order. John Gino’s has the Chicago thin crust pizza down pat. Perfect sauce, the sausage is plentiful and well-seasoned. The crust is not cracker-thin, but its not that chain-style bread crust. Plenty of cheese means I’m a happy girl. They also have great sides. I order the fried mushrooms often. Seeing as how I only get«real» pizza when I come back for a visit, you’d think I’d rush down to one of the well known places. I see no reason to. John Gino’s is real Chicago-style pie, and real good!
