The Laurels

This is a high prices PROJECTS… back in the 90s this was the place to live, however let me start by saying the hallways are always dirty, the kids tear up the building and outside, the doors are never locked and safe. The catch is that they will always show new people the first two buildings which are building 1 &2 however the other buildings are horrible. The people in the office give you a hard time when you call for things that are not fixed in your apartment, for example smoke alarm… really??? Or the front doors not being lock! During the winter time the doors was broke and you couldn’t get in nor out which was a fire hazard! Yes I called them! Not to mention the people in the building smoke weed and will empty the blunt out in the hallway and smoke weed and cigarettes in the hallways as if we all don’t have our won personal balcony. They allow the kids to break in empty apartments and have parties, and the security is lazy they should be 24hours hours they never pick up after a certain time. The apartments never have updates and they are lazy about changing the carpet and will give you the run around!!! The go up 30 – 35 each year on the rent BUT NEVER improve the apartments. The carpet in the hallways are HORRIBLE! However in the first two building they have tile on the floor! It’s sad that they refuse to improve things but charge all this rent!!! I’m going to post a picture that we left in the laundry room… keep in mind this is one of the washers… smh
