There’s lots of open space in Swanzy Beach Park along with a basketball court, restrooms and shower facilities and places to have BBQs or picnics. Not exactly what I’d call a real beach, however. Very rocky at the shore. Only parking is really along the street.

Although the portion near us seemed rocky at first, we realized its beauty was in sitting on a large rock and gazing at the ocean. Beautiful sunrise and sunset! Lots of fishermen in the area just have a beach chair open along the coast and their fishing pole right next to them. An overall calm beach that you can’t really«sunbathe» at, but one that you can spend hours with your family swapping stories while catching what you’ll eat for dinner ;)
