You know, I prefer Kmart over Walmart when it comes to clearance items! They mark down their clothes and other stuff pretty good, so much so that my closet is filled with markdowns! Sometimes score shirts for as low as 3 bucks, or shoes for 7 bucks! And nobody died in them!!! The selection is good here and they also sell Sears stuff too, since they’re owned by the same company. Only bad thing is the checkout lines. Seems like there are never enough open cashiers like Walmart. Sometimes waiting to pay takes longer than shopping! Be careful when you’re in the parking lot, though, as the Maui bus sometimes comes ripping through the parking lot like the driver has to take a massive dump! Either that or they’re trying to beat you to the clearance sale! All in all, pretty good store for people on a budget!

Seriously, I have experienced nothing but friendly native staff members at every other establishment i’ve visited(with the exception of a few rotten tomatoes at Target). But this place… definitely mind boggling! As soon as you step foot in this place it reeks of skid row… skid row –near the red light district of Downtown Los Angeles type of skid row! I’ve encountered 4 various staff members, the first named FRANCINE, what a ridiculously RUDEBIATCH… for lack of better words… She stares at each and ever customer with this deathly stare, her tone is rude, and if you do not donate to charity she mad doggs you! no lie! She asked if I had a kmart loyalty type of card, I said no. my sister had a coupon for $ 5 off and I wanted to use it. She said«only if you have a card u can use it!» I said ok, let me sign up then. She said, «it take a long time, like signing up for a credit card» Me: «So its a credit card?» HER: «No its like credit card» Me: «So…is it a credit card or is it not a credit card?!» At this point she was basically trying to convince me that it would take forever and a day for me to create a membership card, I had enough and just said forget it! paid and left. I walked out realizing she had overcharged me, I walked back, stood in line respectfully only for her to POINTTOCUSTOMERSERVICE, and said«Go there, I dont do that here» Okay biatchhhhh! I walk over to Customer Service where the«service» was no different than Francine’s…let’s just say there are multiple Francine’s working here!!! I will NEVERRETURN to this stinky sorry excuse of a Kmart!
