This place is kinda tricky on their business hours, during their hours they are closed(made me confused) i wasnt sure if they are closed for good or in the process of closing down… & finally i came at the right time, they are located right next to falcons nest & tj’s warehouse, behind asians cuisine… Big parking lot. I tried their Halo Halo & it was really good, i suggest ordering a small cup because its actually a big cup.

Great hole in the wall place. Hard to find but worth it. I wish we went when they had all those specials going on with the different kind of shaved ice. Halo halo was so good!

friendly guy with hospitable service. syrup was delicious. so why the low rating? ice felt like eating pop rocks, the ice can definitely be finer, i can see this place being a great success due to its combination of hole in the wall, fair pricing, friendly service, delicious syrups… but that ice needs to be improved

This place is super special and also super hard to find(hidden behind a derelict shopping mall, next to a barbershop — expect to do some circling around to locate it.) The dude that runs it makes most of his own toppings and syrups so you’ll get a lot more than your average tri-color shave ice here. He lists numerous flavor combinations that you’d never dream up yourself on the dry erase board — I highly recommend the haupia for any coconut lover.

This” Shave Ice joint«is one of Maui ‘s best kept secret! We went there yesterday and boy what a treat, it’s quite a blast. Not too pricey and the place was in a hole in the wall type of spot. The shave ice was awesome !!! Will surely visit it again. Mahalo!!!

Wowzers. I don’t know much about shave ice, but I trust my own tastebuds: this place is good, and it was frequented exclusively by locals when I went there(probably because it is all but impossible to find since it’s tucked behind a dilapidated shopping plaza). Check it out.

Hole in the wall place but worth the effort to find. One man shop with lots of flavors, great prices, and interesting specialty combinations.

Hole in the wall that’s tucked in the back of the shoppin center that’s pretty barren. Reasonably priced. Nice guy. Good flavors. All natural. Will come back again on our next visit.

This place is really hole-in-the-wall, and hard to find. It also is in the back of a plaza in a somewhat sketchy area, so you’d never guess that you could get some amazing shave ice here. When we came, my wife was feeling a bit dizzy from altitude sickness after Haleakala, and when she saw this place, we almost turned around and went somewhere else; I’m glad we didn’t! To sum it up, the best things to get here are the specials. I’m sure the normal shave ice is a good deal with the amount and flavors you get, but the special combinations are just completely over the top. Basically, you will get not only shave ice, but ice cream and 5 – 6 toppings as well, all for around the same price that Ululani’s or any other place charges for just a large shave ice alone. We had the haupia special, which came with mochi, azuki beans, taro, coconut, tapioca pearls, haupia ice cream, and a cream top, all for only $ 5.50. Talk about a great way to satisfy my coconut craving! Other specials looked great as well, which we will definitely try — also, ice cream scoops are $ 1 each; tell me where else you can find that on Maui? My only suggestion is that the ice could be shaved slightly finer and the mochi softer(Home Maid Bakery maybe?) but these are all things that would get better if they got a more steady stream of customers. TL;DR version — if you are wondering why there isn’t a shave ice place on Maui like Waiola’s on O’ahu, then you haven’t found this place yet. With some regular clientele I’m sure it will only get better and better.

I’m a shave ice fanatic and this is by far the best I’ve ever had. My first trip, I had the mango madness on the recommendation of the owner. Mmmmm that was so good! Mango flavored ice cream, mango mochi, carmelized mangoes, and just all around deliciousness. This was one of the more expensive items at $ 6.50, but absolutely worth it. On my next visit, I tried the coconut haupia. Again, very delicious, with coconut ice cream, sweet potatoes, and mochi, and haupia. This was a little cheaper at $ 5.50. There are still many more items I want to try on the menu, and I cant wait to go back! After eating here, I could never go back to eating a plain shave ice and ice cream again! This is a must try spot!
