We first utilized them about 10 years ago when we built our current home. We had dogs that needed a protected area to do their business, as well as HVAC and other equipment that required camouflaging due to association rules. As I called around to get quotes for vinyl fencing, the second business I called told me plain and simple to «Just go with Valley Isle Fencing because they’re going to undercut us.» Alrighty then… They got my biz! We went with a total privacy fence in white that stands 5′ high and spans about maybe 50′ long with two access gates with locks. It wasn’t cheap. It cost us about $ 5000 and change. The only negative issue on this entire process was when it came time to install the fencing. I warned them repeatedly that there’s a propane line running next to the sidewalk where they were digging for the fence posts. They assured me that they’d be careful. Fence went up, everything seemed fine. After a few weeks, we noticed that our gas stove was running out of propane really fast and with minimal usage. Because we were also having our lawn installed, our landscape guy found that they had punctured the propane line. He was nice enough to repair it for us. 10 years later, the fence is still in good condition sans for sunlight fading UV rays, and little vegetation growing from the baseboards due to water collection. Come present day, we needed a gate replacement at my folks’ place. The metal security door they had, the second one in just about 5 years, had rusted through and was quickly deteriorating with holes appearing randomly in the screen. Because there’s so much salt air in Kahului, we opted to go with a vinyl gate with lock. Called them up, the woman in the office said she’d have an estimator call back which he did in about 2 days. «Bobo» is the guy in charge. According to his business card, he’s the president & estimator of the company. He took measurements and said he’d be back in about 2 weeks to install. About 3 weeks later he finally called and came to install the gate the next day. The new gate is 6′ tall, the tallest they come, I guess. It was installed quickly and professionally. I find it amazing how they attached the gate to an already existing framing. The hinges of the gate seem very flexible in that the area they’re mounted to doesn’t have to be extremely flush with the gate itself. There was another downfall though. Apparently one of the vinyl slats got scratched in storage and they didn’t notice it until the gate was up. Bobo asked my mom if she wanted it changed out, or take it as is and he’d knock down the price. She opted for the latter. I would’ve gone with the former, as I think it looks terrible especially since it’s a new gate. But, the estimated quote of $ 500 came down to $ 350, which is a huge savings, and it was her decision, so… OVERALL: Professional service, quality work. Highly recommended!
