These stores are great for the tourist. When you need something to eat, drink or a souvenir they are everywhere. This one was right across the street from where we got off the tender from our cruise ship. They had cold drinks on sale so we stocked up and even bought a few souvenirs. They have good quality stuff at reasonable prices.

The ABC convenience stores are AWESOME! They’re scattered all over Kona, Hawaii, and each one is fully stocked, organized, and full of fun souvenirs, products, cold drinks, candy, and a variety of products such as memory cards, over the counter medication, etc. Throughout the store you can find Hawaiian bottled water, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, a large variety of Hawaiian themed Hello Kitty merchandise, Hawaiian shirts, Hawaiian hats, postcards, key chains, pearls, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, Hawaiian themed household items, snorkeling gear, water shoes, magnets, bottle openers, lighters of all kinds, gourmet flavored cigars, American candy, Hawaiian candy, soda, juice, imported water, various snacks, gifts, and much more. My partner and I easily spent almost 200 $ in just the one week that we were there. I am looking forward to the next time I am there so I can purchase more Hawaiian themed Hello Kitty goods, and Hawaiian chocolates.

4.5 stars! It’s not a visit to Hawaii if you don’t go to an ABC store at least once! These stores are everywhere, sometimes within blocks of each other!(There are at least two more in walking distance of here). Need a super touristy souvenir of Hawaii? Forgot a beach towel or sunscreen? Feeling a bit snacky or thirsty??? ABC can take care of all of that for you! This location is actually connected to the Courtyard Marriott King Kam Hotel. There’s an entrance from the hotel and also an entrance from the outside on Palani Road. They sell beach towels, beach mats, sunscreen, T-shirts, keychains,(fake) plumeria hair accessories, cell phone cases, reusable bags, Hawaiian/aloha shirts, flip flops, calendars, Mauna Loa and Hawaiian Host macadamia chocolates, Kona coffee, bath and body stuff like soaps and lotions and lip balm, ukuleles, hats,(fake) leis, and more! When I was there, they had some T-shirts on sale for $ 5. Some of the items they’ll sell in bunches packaged in a plastic tote, like six boxes of macadamia nut chocolates, and it ends up being a few cents cheaper per box by buying it in bulk. And they must have some partnership going on with Sanrio, because they have a bunch of Hello Kitty products. HK beach towels, HK reusable bags, HK post-its, HK cell phone accessories, HK dolls, and HK T-shirts. And some of the HK items are specific to Hawaii or ABC. One of the HK cell phone accessories was a Hello Kitty wearing a shirt with the ABC store logo. One of the(cheaper) reusable bags is of a tan Hello Kitty in front of an ABC store. Very cute! Then there’s the food food. Alcohol, bottled water, juice, soda, Kona chips, coconut syrup, bread, etc. They have refrigerated drinks and adjacent to that, they have pre-made food for takeaway — like sandwiches, fruit salads, and regular salads. Next to that area, there’s a little hot food case thing that has SPAMMUSUBI!!! Yum! That makes the perfect snack and it’s still warm! Yes, the prices were not the cheapest, but I didn’t think the prices were unreasonably high either. You are paying a little bit more for convenience. But it’s fun going into ABC. And you’ll probably walk out buying something that you forgot to pack or didn’t even know you needed. Aloha!

Perfect place for souvenir shopping in Hawaii. This is not the spot for the one of a kind keepsake for your special someone. It is the spot for the 12 pack of key chains and the $ 9.99 t-shirts that say«hawaii» for the people you have to buy gifts for. Tote back for the dog walker? Lunchbox for the neighbor kid? Bulk pack of chocolate covered macadamia nuts? This is your spot. Everything is well priced and there are lots of choices for your kind of generic hawaii gifts. They also have a good sized ‘convenience store’ type section with snacks and drinks and small sized stuff you might need during a vacation. This one is attached to a hotel. There is no free parking nearby, so your best bet is one of the pay lots across the street or valet for the hotel. If you happen to be on foot in the area, that works nicely too.

I love this store. It’s great to buy Souvenir gifts. You can find everything you are looking for. The price is reasonable. You can find ABC store any where in Hilo, Hawaii. I was in downtown Hilo there was 3 others one. Hard to find parking because there are a lot of tourists that go there. I would definitely go there again.

This is in a key stop in kona. We found it after walking around after coming in from the west coast of the island for shopping. What was interesting is the blend of items for sale at very reasonable prices. We were able to find the small souvenirs such as key chains, pens, local candy, and t-shirts we were looking for. It is near the cruise link so it is busy. A good place to hit for other items since it has everything necessary.

I can’t visit Hawaii without visits to the ABC stores. T-shirts! Sundries! $ 3.99 hats for the kids! Hula girls for the dash! Snacks! Cheap crap that will fall apart! It’s where you get it all and cheaper than almost anywhere else!

There was a TON of variety at this ABC location. But because it is right off the port the prices reflect this accessibility. Tons of great candles, candies, snacks, booze, etc. & you can easily find a souvenir for yourself or a loved one.

On property at the King Kamehameha Hotel… if your coming to shore off the cruise ships, this is one the first sites you will see after docking… Like any ABC Stores in the Islands, has everything you would need for your hotel/condo room, including ready to eat hot foods. Prices are reasonable, if you want cheap, drive to Wal Mart or Target. Friendly staff and clean store…

I have a soft spot for ABC stores because I go to one almost everyday while I’m visiting Hawai’i. Whether I’m picking up water before my day at the beach, gathering groceries for breakfast(eggs, milk, onion, apples, bread), buying a pack of cigarettes for my boyfriend, or candy for a road trip, this store has ample goods. The condo I was stating at does not permit us to take our bathroom towels to the beach… but this store is great because it sells beach towels, flip flops, and other clothes you would never wear. Check your prices! The small bottles of water at front are 99cents but so are the large 1.5 liters of water in the back.

These ABC stores are everywhere! If you forgot to bring sunscreen to Hawaii, or need a drink of water from a hot day at the beach, or you want to take a beer back to the hotel, or you want to bring back some souvenier… this spot has it all. But if you don’t go to this one, don’t worry you have 50 more to choose from, right down the street.
