Banyan Mart

Great convenience store!
Conveniently located across the famous surf spot «Banyans» and in between Kailua town and Keauhou.
They carry beer (nice and cold), wine, liquor, ice, cigarettes (low price), household items (toilet paper, paper towels, charcoal, cleaning supplies, paper goods, etc), toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc), bread, milk, eggs, cereal, pre made sandwiches, frozen foods (they have a microwave to heat items), cold beverages, huge variety of ice cream, candies and snacks, canned goods, produce, and a little bit of everything.
They only take cash but there is an ATM inside the store. They also take EBT.
Hours are 9:00am to 10:00pm daily.

Great local store — has a little bit of everything, reasonably priced and owner Craig is awesome dude who always takes care. They even give you free ice with any beer purchase! Shop local!

Not the cleanest, or well stocked little market. Prices did look a little on the high side and since it’s a little further down from the main Ali’i strip area, unless you wanna go further down the strip with all the traffic, you’re kinda stuck coming here for a quick pit stop.
I personally would only come here for items that you know sell i.e. sodas/​drinks, chips, alcohol and that’s about it. They also sell milk and eggs and have seen other people buy those items so those seem ok as well. However the items on the shelf at least what I personally saw were kinda dusty, and would have no clue how long it’s been there… Heinz ketchup bottles looked more brown then red, tattered cans of Hormel chile… to my surprise they did have a little freezer filled with haagen dazs ice cream, and then another with klondikes, etc.
Also in the back they have small camping propane bottles, flashlights, and other little random items.
Overall good place to pick up a few items that you may have forgotten from an earlier shopping trip, but don’t expect to find everything you’re looking for, unless of course it’s soda, chips, and booze.
