We went to Crepes No Ka ‘Oi this morning for breakfast and had a good meal. I got the Basic breakfast crêpe which was really good and my husband got the Southwestern crêpe which he liked as well. The crepes are very large and we had enough leftovers for a second meal each tomorrow morning. My only complaint is that we both asked for potatoes to be added to our crepes since we saw them in another one and thought they sounded great. However, when the bill came, they had charged us an extra $ 4.50 each for the potatoes! If I would have known that we’d be spending $ 9 extra on potatoes, I would have stuck with the original. The crepes are already kind of expensive(although you can easily get two meals out of them) so we ended up with over a $ 30 breakfast check after tip because of the potatoes. In the future they should say that it will be that much extra for something to be added.

Clearly the best Crepes on the island, prepared and served by a caring staff. Visit this gem in Kailua, you won’t be disappointed! The menu is diverse, breakfast and dessert Crepes, Beer, Wine and Mimosas too!

I would give 5 stars if the service wasn’t slow… Good food, good atmosphere and great location but service is pretty slow and the wait time could be long if you go on the weekend. Wanted to try ultimate breakfast crêpe but they were sold out… Assuming I’d have to come here fairly early to be able to get the dish. I got a «get mushed crêpe», hubby’s got a «Benedict crêpe» and mom’s got a «Lovers’ Delight» and they were all tasty. Will be definitely coming back here soon to try other crepes soon!

While visiting family in Hawaii my nephew recommended this place. With it being next to Boots and Kimos I was kind of weary hoping that I wouldn’t be thinking of macadamia nut pancakes as I was eating here. NOWAY. this place is amazing! Both the savory and sweet crepes are ridiculously delicious. If they still have it available a must try is the ultimate breakfast crêpe.

Always the best crepes, my favorites are the savory ones. Doesn’t take reservations over the phone on weekends I believe. Also no take-out on weekends. Definitely recommend calling in before taking the trip there to see how crowded they are. Take-out is usually just as good as dining in.

Consistently great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dessert. Wide selection of teas and upscale illy coffee with free refills worth the $ 3.25. Better for smaller parties though seems like they could accommodate up to 6 if you don’t mind waiting. From savory to sweet there’s something to satisfy every palate. Not just an alternative to the longer lines at Cinnamon’s and Moke’s, Crepes is its own kind of Ono in a town of places known for pancakes.

I tried a buckwheat La Ville Gruyère and was pleased, it was quite tasty. The restaurant was busy, even though it was close to closing, so we had to wait awhile. The major downside is that there’s only one bathroom for the restaurant and its neighboring tenants, so I had to wait forever. They have communal seating and it just so happened that I was seated with a woman that goes to my gym, so it was fun talking story with her. The service was good. I would like to come back and try a sweet crêpe.

What’s that smell?!? From 200′ away, the hint of sweetness then the unmistakable aroma of freshly cooking crepes. The aroma beckons you in. You’re instantly hit with the warm perfumed air. Lust, desire, oh la la. And what a crêpe it is. Parisian versus those of Harajuku(clarification required as the eatery is frequented by Japanese tourist). The crêpe has a springy, toothsome texture with slightly crisp edges. Gentle sweetness and a doughy taste. That said, a word of caution. Savory fillings are their weakness. Use of processed cheeses, cold cut deli meats, precooked veg and even some canned items. Choose wisely. Top savory crepes include a crepes Benedict(crêpe folded over poached eggs, cold cut ham, and topped with hollandaise that is rich and comforting) and the«Hukilau»(warm cream cheese, cold smoked salmon, sautéed sweet onions, and capers that works surprisingly well with the sweetness of the crêpe). Into sweet? Go for it! Purist, try the simple«Hawaiian Sugar»(butter, sugar, lemon juice) that really showcases the crêpe. Also offered are the classic chocolate and creamy nutella. The piece de resistance; the«Temptation in Paradise»(cinnamon apples and brown sugar in a crêpe topped with more cinnamon. All sweet crepes are topped with freshly whipped cream with very little added sugar. Very friendly«Kailua» service(if you’ve eaten anywhere in Kailua, you know what I’m talking about). Tip: Go early or expect a wait. 30 or so shared parking stalls that fill up quick when other businesses open. Worthy of a try. Leaving smelling like a freshly cooked crêpe an added bonus.

There’s so many choices and it was very delicious. It’s a good size portion and the area is very cute and relaxing. I couldn’t finish mines but it was a great stop with my friends.

I was torn between 3 and 4 starts but having excellent coffee and Illy options bumped up my review to 4 stars. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been to Crepes No Ka ‘Oi only on default that Cinnamons was way too busy and I was hungry with my sister and brother in law so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed at all and I’m happy we headed there. At their old location my sister and I thought it was mediocre but I was happy to try the ultimate breakfast crêpe which was awesome. Delicious flavor and lots of stuff on the inside, they definatly do not skimp here. Since then I’ve made it a point to visit here every home visit for me just to try their breakfast crepes and I have not been disappointed yet.

Had last chance of the year breakfast out w/my wife. Ordered Vegetarian and Get Mushy(mushroom) crepes and split them. Enjoyed the veggie crêpe better(nice variety of veggies — including olives :) Couldn’t tell if some mushrooms were canned or fresh(some were def fresh) — hence 4 stars. Wife ordered hot chocolate — was sprinkled w/cinnamon — bonus!

Great Crepes! I have been here several times now and it has earned a review. The service is always very good and the wait staff is pleasant. I left my card on the table and our waiter literally ran to catch up to us to return it. The food has always been so ono(good). Each meal even comes with a little orchid flower and orange slice to make you feel special and appreciated. The coffee is a little pricey but it is Illy(quality coffee) and unlimited refills. There are no bad crepes, only delicious ones. I prefer the savory crepes so I get the ultimate and split it with my wife. That’s another thing I like; the portion sizes are great. All in all: good food, friendly staff, and a great experience.

I ordered the Popeye with turkey and my bf got the vegetarian. I thought the pop eye was pretty decent although the turkey was a little on the salty side. However, I didn’t really care for the crêpe batter. It was a bit too chewy as if it was undercooked or something. I feel like crepes should be thinner and a bit more crisp. My boyfriend’s vegetarian crêpe was bleh. The mushrooms inside had a really weird aftertaste and he had trouble eating it. We normally love mushrooms but it was actually really unappetizing. He tried to eat around them as best he could but there was just too much and the flavor was really strong. Overall the experience was alright. I think it was a bit expensive for the quality of food we received. Although the portions are big enough to be an actual meal, we probably won’t return. If anything, I would just stick to the sweet crepes; you can’t really go wrong with nutella + fruit.

t was pouring rain outside and the restaurant my friend and I wanted to go was packed. We were hungry, didn’t want to wait and didn’t want to deal with the rain so crepes it was. I’m not a big fan but this place took me by surprised. We ordered the chicken pesto and it was delicious. The apple something crepes(sorry I wish I could remember the name but it had apple and Brie cheese) it was good, but I need meat in my dish so I didn’t care much for it. The crêpe was chewing and good. I don’t know much about crepes but at the moment it was made perfectly for my taste or maybe because I was hungry. The girl that seated us were super nice and helpful. I forgot to mention I had my baby with me, so we had a stroller and the place was pretty small. The staff helped re-arranged the chairs around to make room for us. I will definitely come back here and recommend to my friends(whoever is craving for crepes) -* this place by far has the best crepes I’ve tasted

My friends and I came here on Labor Day at night and had a wonderful experience. The staff members were friendly and were pretty good sports in regards with my loud group! The restaurant wasn’t packed on this particular night, but it still had a fairly good amount of patrons. I loved that they moved a couple doors down to a bigger space with a second floor. Its roomy, comfy, and had a homey feel. Is «homey» a word? I don’t mean Urban Dictionary definition, but Webster’s… ahhh nevermind, I’ll check after I’m done writing this review. Currently, the bottom notification says my review is «average length» so I better keep typing! Pros: — Food was just superb!!! I love those savory crepes. They make my heart so happy. Today, my friend and I shared the Tiki Torch. It had pesto, chicken, spinach, carmelized onions, and lettuce with a balsamic vinaigrette and more pesto on the side. We also halved the sweet Lover’s Delight which contained strawberries, bananas, and nutella… It was topped off with coco powder and whip cream. We asked to have it ala mode which completed that perfection. I suggest everyone add ice cream to their sweet crepes! — Ample parking. There’s street parking and a parking lot right next to the restaurant. — Great service! Thank you to the staff. Cons: — They closed at 8pm… which is probably good for me because if they were a 24-hour restaurant, I’d be in big trouble! Haahahha

Kailua has some serious good eats and Crepes No Ka ‘Oi has been on my bookmarks for a long time. Finally got around to trying it today with a couple girlfriends. Apparently they moved down the street to a nicer, larger location with outdoor seating. There is a parking lot in the back. We got there around 11:30 and snagged the last group table – so glad we didn’t have to wait for a seat! People who arrived closer to 12 had to wait at least 10 minutes. We got glasses of water almost immediately and placed our orders soon after. I got Popeye’s Power(fresh spinach, sauteed sweet onions, melted Jack and Cheddar cheese, and a choice of oven-roasted turkey or honey ham). I went with the turkey and added sauteed mushrooms. This was delicious! Portion size was good and price was very reasonable(my crêpe came out to $ 10). The only drawback is we had to wait a while(must have been around 30 minutes) for our food to come out. I do want to come back and try some of their other crepes though!

Well well well nestled in what looked like a gnarly beach town me and my girl found this gem thanks to Unilocal!Of course we were greeting with an Aloha and we made outside to eat it was pretty cool watching chicken walk around. The server brought us our menus and was very polite and explained the crepes to us. We requested some lemon and they bought those to us on a beautiful spread! My crêpe was a south western and boy was it yummy! I added a avocado. The only thing I would do different is tell them to ease up on the cheese. But that was fixable:) A delicious meal at a good price!

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve eaten at Crepes NK’O and I’m still a big fan of them. This is my first visit to the new location and will definitely say the new digs are a nice improvement. Another nice improvement is the menu. They’ve added many different items since the last time I ate here(4+ yrs) and they all look delicious. One of the changes that really made me smile is they now have the option of your crêpe being made in the Normandy style galettes using a buckwheat crêpe batter. I used to ask the owners way back about the possibility of adding this to the menu so I’m very happy to see they do now. The buckwheat crepes have a nuttier taste and for diners that have gluten allergies(my partner does) this is a great alternative. Crepes No Ka ‘Oi…still gets 5 stars from me.

We were starved for breakfast and had no idea where a good spot to eat was. We found this place on Unilocal, and what a great experience! I’ve never had a mixture of breakfast items like eggs and bacon in a crêpe. I’ve usually tasted crepes with something sweet like Nutella and fruit. I ordered their crêpe that included bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese. The flavor of all of these items mixed together was magical. Huge props to the cooks who did an amazing job on the eggs which turned out nice and fluffy just the way I like them. The service we received was also above par. Very friendly and helpful, always coming by to refill my coffee before I had to ask. Prices were also very reasonable. They also serve the sweet crepes to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. I wish we could have tried one, but the large portions for our dishes filled us up. Cheers!
