Awesome service, very helpful and super friendly. I lost my contact visiting from out of town and they were able to help me get a new one.

When I was in third grade I discovered that I needed to wear glasses. Ever since then, I have annually made a trek to Dr. Matsuda and Dr. Machida in Kailua.
Their professionalism and bedside manner is excellent, and although I live on the West side, I still continue to use them as my eye doctors. They know and understand me and I in turn value that as a patient.
Over the years I have gone through many an eye fashion phase with them.
My first was a pair of eyeglasses that were reminiscent of a smaller version of coke-​bottled glasses. Thick and big, almost like an old cartoon character, Fearless Fly!
As I got older I moved into contact lenses, and had the experience of tearing them each time I tried to place them in my eyes. Eventually I learned and became a full-​fledged contact lens wearer.
I event went through a «colored» contact lens phase with green being my color of choice.
Today, I continue to wear contacts but have also upgraded my glasses to more stylish frames, of which I carry in my car and purse in case my eyes burn and the contacts need to come out.
