Slide, swings, climbing and allot of grass. This is a great neighborhood park. Not crowded and has good equipment. Look at my pictures for more

The park I grew up on! An old Kailua park that provides a great recreational area for the neighborhood. Cute playground and plenty of grass to run around on. Neighbors often bring their dogs to the park, so watch out for some surprises. They’re generally great at cleaning up after their pets and even others’. But, you can’t keep an eye on them all the time this, surprises. The equipment was put up in 1993 so it’s a little worn. The kids have more fun climbing trees and swinging. Sometimes there’s soccer practice and football practice here. I don’t know that they’re allowed to, but they aren’t bothering anyone and everyone is having a good time. Bring a picnic blanket or volleyball net and you’ll be prepared for a blast at Triangle Park!

Back in the day, this place was called Triangle park. I was surprised when I searched this park and it came out Ka’elepulu Mini Park. What? In the far corner nearest Kailua town side there used to be a baseball diamond where we played t-ball. Fast forward to today, its just a tiny playground and a small park. I guess its good for the neighborhood children and to come and play. Also a great place to grind your lunch when your in a pinch. This place will always be triangle park to me.

We’ve always known this to be called Triangle Park, as it’s right in a triangle in the road. Its a somewhat tired playground structure with older surfacing. But kids love it and there is often a good group of friends to play with here. There are some swings as well, and a large field.

Ka’elepulu Mini Park is nothing fancy, but it’s a welcome addition to the neighborhood, providing much-needed green space and helping preserve the community appeal and character of Kailua. It includes a small playground and open lawn that’s large enough to throw a frisbee, play fetch with your dog, or set up an impromptu volleyball game. There are some small shade trees, along with a couple of benches. Best of all, it provides an excuse for neighbors to get out of the house for the kids to play together or just talk story.
