Loved this place! I took my 2 boys in for the introductory (free) class and they loved it. I have signed them up for the regular classes and after watching what a great teacher both Sensei Stacey and Sensei David are; I even decided to join the adult class.
I like that they are a family business with the husband, wife and kids all involved. Also, there was no high pressure sales pitch to get you to sign up (like some places).
They genuinely seem to care about my kids; both of my children have developmental delays and Sensei Stacey was able to make adjustments so my boys did not feel awkward, and for the first time ever — they are excited about attending a social activity!
The facility is clean and the hours are perfect for our needs. And the convenience of being right in Kailua is a bonus.

These guys rock, their entire family of husband, wife and young children are all a part of this terrific family owned/​operated dojo. Brings back very fond memories of my early days in martial arts and spending time with some great athletics and good quality people I truly respect and enjoy hanging with. The husband is early retired military and brings a sense of quiet confidence to his work that results in making me feel comfortable being around him and confident that I can trust him, try them out for a free visit.

This is our first experience with Martial Arts although for the past 10 years of other kids’ activities I have seen lots of good and bad (unsafe gymnastics, yelling basketball coaches, boring ballet, ineffective swimming lessons as well as highly effective ones). All that to say I am picky in what my kids spend their time doing and who they spend it with.
The instructors at Knight’s are clearly very knowledgeable and they care about the kids. My kids really enjoy it and they have definitely learned self confidence, awareness of what to do in bad situations, and self control of their bodies through their classes which was a goal of mine!
Sensei Stacie and Sensei David are professional, kind, and enthusiastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in Karate!
