Great staff and amazing selection. It’s pricey but worth it. I have a cute desk that I bought years ago and it’s still in great shape. Their products are made to last and it’s worth the investment. And I love their selections on candles and other items for decorating your home.

Stepping into this store it really gets the creative juices flowing. It’s summertime and most of the décor is bright and inviting. Alot of great stuff on display at the moment that are truly inspiring but pricey home décor. Great customer service! But one of the reasons why my family and I will be coming back here are their candles. Favorite scent is Ginger Peach! Purchased Ginger Peach home frangrance and candle. Will be back here soon!

My husband and I were shopping for a dinner table and chairs. We saw the one we liked and was ready to buy them. The salesperson, Jessica was very sweet and helpful. She said that she would check if they have them on stock. She came back with good and bad news. The good news was she had everything except the glass top. We asked if they could sell us the display table and her manager, Angela, said no. The manager was not very friendly nor helpful. She couldn’t care less about the sale. We asked if they could have the table sent from the Honolulu store to Kailua and her answer was«No, we don’t do that» and walked away. In this desperate economy, when you have customers who are ready to purchase, we were appalled by her attitude and lack of customer skills! She seems poorly trained as a store manager. The salesperson had much better attitude than her! Maybe she should be the store manager! It was an awful experience for us and we would rather give our business to stores who want the business. Angela really needs to be better trained because she just cost her Company $ 600 in sales!

Esthetically pleasing, they have revamped the store; and of course when I see pretty and sparkly; it makes me want to spend mullah. Check it out, great staff, and lots of stuff for entertaining. I come here weekly, just to wake up the yang !!! I checked that it’s pricey, but it just depends on what you are looking for. I bought a desk from here and it cost me around $ 300. But I also bought chop sticks here that cost me like 3 bucks. If you come here on Thursdays, after browsing you can go to the Kailua Farmer’s Market which is usually up and buzzing around 530 p.m. and enjoy some really awesome FOOD!!!

Nice little store in Kailua. I had some time last night so I dropped in looking for some bowls, for some reason I like their bowls. Parking was good, they built a parking structure for use while shopping at Macy’s, Pier 1, and Longs. I guess its been awhile since I have been in that area of Kailua and had to go to Macy’s/Pier 1. Didn’t find bowls that caught my eye but I must say that the store is very festive. its all decked out in fall colors. I felt Halloween and Thanksgiving in the store. They staff seems to be really friendly and welcomed us into the store. I like this store.

When Pier 1 decided to open up in Kailua not only were my friends and I glad, but we were a bit surprised. For some reason it didn’t seem to fit the«then» image of our sleepy little Kailua town. Frankly I didn’t think it would last long. Many years later(I forget how many) it’s still here and I’m glad I was wrong. I like going into Pier 1 because it’s bright and full of decorating ideas in every price range. They carry so many things it’s impossible to list all of it: housewares, kitchenware that come in decorator colors), dishes, glassware, outdoor plastic/acrylic/glass ware, table mats, mirrors, frames, furniture in wonderful patterns, pillows, candles, jewelry… and more! I like their furniture and furnishings because while it’s contemporary it’s not necessarily conservative. Everything looks fresh and bright. The prices are reasonable. Some items can be expensive, but they do have fantastic sales which is what I usually try and wait for. It’s also a great place to find inexpensive gifts. I find this Pier 1 easier to browse and shop in than the Honolulu store and there is so much more parking(a big plus!!). Unilocal 365 Challenge: 22⁄365

I like the Pier 1 in Kailua. The staff is friendly and they have a cool variety of home furnishings. If you complete the survey at the bottom of your receipt you can receive $ 10 off your next $ 50 or more purchase. A good deal.
