Americas Best Value Inn

The room was clean and comfortable. No frills with this hotel but good location to downtown Kalispell. The hotel borders a major road so you will hear traffic noise which is probably the biggest downside. Otherwise, staff was very helpful when checking in.

I have stayed in hotels every night for the last 2+ mos. This one was the worst. Clerk told me the roll out sofa was really comfortable and cushy. It was a thin mattress and I could only feel the metal bars underneath. Internet didn’t work. I called on the phone for assistance and was told the manager was not on the premises. I walked into the hallway and there he was. He told me my account was hacked and that’s why my internet failed. This was a lie. There is more, but this says enough. Not worth the money. Horrible experience and I stayed 2 nights in a vacation area with no other rooms available. Paid $ 120. a night.

Alright, let me be straight with you, America’s Best Value Inn is not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. It doesn’t have a hot tub, pool, exercise room, or really any amenities besides a carb-​loaded continental breakfast. The beds are very firm. There is no safe in the room. And if you end up on street-​side, it can be quite noisy at night.
Despite this, I give ABVI ⁴⁄₅ stars because its value is nearly unmatchable. For a meager $ 48/​night USD on a long weekend that also happens to be Canadian University spring break, the value is nearly unbeatable. Roughly 30 minutes from Whitefish mountain resort (i.e. the snowboarding hill), ABVI allows stayers to get a nice long break without needing to break the bank.
I would recommend it for holidayers on a budget. It’s clean, the staff are friendly, and the room is more than adequate. It really is a steal.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay and don’t want the high-​end amenities, you can’t find a better place than this hotel. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff make this the best bargain in the Flathead Valley.
