I’ve always been scared to get my haircut because of multiple hair disasters that left my hair shorter than I had ever expected. So when I came here I half expected to be bald but instead I got a fantastic haircut and a beautiful coloring. I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was amazing and the décor was lovely. My hairstylist was from Vietnam and she was beautiful both in body and soul. She was lovely to talk to and did great work.

It’s really disappointing that Tracy only chose to address the issue of OTHER nail salons not complying with MT state laws in her reply to my review. Tracy, your nail technician chose to file off all of my gel polish instead of removing it with the proper tools. This left a horrible base to reapply polish to, especially since all the polish wasn’t removed to begin with. The final product was bumpy and uneven. That being said, she was more destructive to my cuticles/​nails and probably filed off more cuticle with her $.10 nail file than trimming would have done.
Someone with the business’ best interests at heart puts the customer first and doesn’t make excuses or gloss over a legitimately disappointing experience for a customer. From other reviews it seems as though your salon is in great need of some skilled nail technicians and some repricing of nail services. I was also told $ 40 over the phone and was charged $ 45 for a very poor, dare I even say it, manicure. Inconsistent communication and over charging is a customer disservice.
If someone has a legitimately bad experience your first response should be «how can I make this right for that customer?» Your reply was self righteous and only tried to project negativity towards other salons by stating you «would alert the state board» that other salons are not in compliance. Not one word about how disappointing my experience was, which from a customer service viewpoint, should have been the first issue you addressed.
You are in the business of catering to people and making them feel pampered, if you are not able to deliver that kind of service then it shouldn’t be offered and most definitely shouldn’t be charged as such.
Hopefully you’ll take the feedback given and do something positive with it, maybe it will make another customers experience much better than my own.

I went to them years ago and then wandered off to try someone closer to where I live. I’m now back and the hour drive to get there is worth it. Always a classy yet relaxed atmosphere!!! Thao does an amazing cut and color! They are super busy but always wonderful about fitting you in! Love them!

The massages here are great and they do a great job with hair. I’m giving it 2 stars because of the same problem it listed on here when I first went here cautiously. They struggle with rude and unprofessional. I sent in 3 of my girls, youngest being 6, for pedicures. They informs me they did not have discount prices for a child pedicure which I was fine with but most places do not vary by much on a standard pedicure with out gel. They charged $ 50 a person including my 6 year old. It would have been better if I knew they were going to really throw the bill at me. When I called and explained the concern they were firm with the price and said that was the going rate for the area which is not true and ridiculous. My favorite salon for pedicures is Soucie and Soucie. They are reasonable and do a great job. They do pretty much everything there too and all of the staff is very kind and well ran. Again, who charges someone $ 50 to add paint to a 6 year olds toes with out warning you of the price

Jerrette is AMAZING!!! he’s a hair pro and did wonders on my hair that I messed up with box color. He gave me a beautiful ombré that I get lots of compliments on BC his work is so awesome! He’s also very nice and easy to work with! I don’t want to go to anyone else now. I definitely trust him with my hair!

Jeff Fulford did a chemical peel on my face that not only felt amazing but brightened my skin, evened it out, and help get rid of blackheads and pimples. He used great products and goes above and beyond for an 100% lovely experience. Very professional and personable I would def go back:)

Some of the staff is good, while others are not so great. It seems like the owner is the real issue here. I received a great facial from Kathy, but I doubt I’ll return now that she’s gone.

BEST SALON EVER. Everyone is so friendly and the décor is just beautiful. If you want a top notch massage, ask for Cheryl or Hilda. Seriously, do it. Kathy is simply a magician when it comes to facials and you will leave so relaxed… I *may* have fallen asleep once or twice while on her table. Have you ever been to a salon where you felt like you were interrupting their social time? Or that everyone is so stinking stuck up that they make you feel like you don’t belong? Amore is so not that way. They are genuine and always so nice. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment, I don’t think you will regret it.

Great place. Had a party of five scheduled for a Wounded Warrior Project event. One showed on time, two were late and two weren’t able to make it. They rescheduled our late arrivals and made everyone feel right at home.
Everyone had a GREAT time and enjoyed themselves. Thank you for being flexible with your schedule.

I’ve had good and bad manicures … this registers as one of the worst ever.
Simply put, the girl was not trained to do nails, she was a hair stylist. If the room I was in hadn’t of been so dark, maybe the girl could have seen what she was doing.
My polish was streaky, uneven, didn’t meet the sidewall or come down to my cuticle. The girl doing my nails used less than tepid water to soak for both my manicure and pedicure, and didn’t shape or file my nails. She never even picked my hands up, just had me lay them flat on the table and painted them there. Also, they didn’t have proper stations, so I sat in a pedicure chair hunching over a low table which left me with a sore back.
Luckily she left the room before my pedicure and that gave me a moment to see that the manicure wasn’t up to par. So when she came back with water for the pedicure tub I told her clear coat only on my toes.
When it came time to check out, I was charged $ 35 for my manicure when my friend was charged $ 30 for the same service. Are they just making the prices up?
I was in town for a wedding and several of the girls got manicures here. Every single one of us had an awful experience, and they completely trashed the bride’s gel nails. It looked like a first grader had done all of our nails. It was pretty obvious that none of our manicures were acceptable, in any state.
I would not recommend this place for manicures or pedicures. Actually, I would thoroughly warn against it.

Not sure how they can think the manicure I received was acceptable. Every single nail had the polish bubble throughout. There was polish all over the side of my nails on the skin which I had to clean off myself. Some nails has polish on the cuticle. After one evening I bought remover and took it off because I was afraid someone would think I did it myself and messed up. It was overpriced and one associate said $ 30 and another $ 35. All three of us used three different associates and I couldn’t believe how poor they all turned out.

Kudos to Jeff for an amazing facial and Beth for a marvelous shampoo & blow out when this road warrior needed pampering. Lovely salon with terrific people who accommodated my ever changing schedule. Can’t wait to come back to Kalispell for more treatments.

I am so very happy right now! I am here in Kalispell on business. My hair was in desperate need of help and Brooke totally took care of me! She did an amazing style on me that helped me look and feel fabulous! I wish I lived closer so I could come back and see her again.

What a great experience!

I’ve been seeing Laura for over a year now and she’s taken me from growing out a lob, to long and blonde, back to my normal medium length brunette. Every style has been great. I’ve also seen Cheryl for massages and she’s great! My back gets super knotty and she works them out well. Overall, yes I recommend this place.

Made appointment for a men’s haircut, easy scheduling, stylist Thao did a great job. Nice shop and all-​around great service!

Not only did they fit me in before flying back to CA, but the pedicure I got was amazing. The staff is very nice and attentive! Great way to end my trip in Kalispell, MT!

I booked the Mio Amore package for both my girlfriend and I to enjoy while vacationing in the Kalispell area. After 5+ hours of pampering by the wonderful staff of Amore Salon and Spa, we left relaxed and happy! The package included a 60-​minute massage, a 60-​minute facial, a spa pedicure and a scalp treatment, blow-​dry and hairstyling. We each had our own «team» of a massage therapist, esthetician, pedicurist and stylist. Everyone we had contact with was kind, friendly and very professional. The facial was especially thorough… my esthetician Kathy was very knowledgeable and gave me many tips for taking better care of my skin. I walk with a cane due to an old ankle injury and all of the staff were very accommodating and helpful in making sure I was comfortable, and could get around the spa for my various services. We had a blast visiting with Connie and Andrea during our pedis, and we left with many suggestions for where to eat, where to go, etc., in the area. We felt the package was very reasonably priced for what was included, and were happy to tip all of our providers for a job well done. Thank you Amore! We loved our day. I would suggest booking several weeks in advance if you’d like a package, since several service providers must coordinate their schedules. We booked about 16 weeks in advance and were glad we did.

I had never been to Kalispell, but my hair needed a major make-​over. I called on a Friday, and they fit me in on that Sunday. I had Thao as my hair stylist. Fantastic highlight, cut, and head massage! I feel so confident with the new do! I highly recommend this salon. Thanks Thao :)

I have had 2 haircuts from this salon in the past and was very satisfied with the results both times. The owner cut my hair, she gave good suggestions, such as cutting the back a bit shorter as it will grow our faster. She has a great personality and good attention to detail. The lobby offers baked goods and Coffee Traders coffee. Scheduling has always been convenient as well.

Disappointing, to say the least! My husband and I decided to end a long weekend getaway with a massage so after checking out the Unilocal reviews, we decided to go with Amore. I noticed on the menu that the price for two single massages was $ 70 per person or $ 140, while a couple’s massage was $ 160. Being a regular at some other high end spas, I wondered if they had some other perks with the couple’s massage — like a glass of wine or something. So when I called to make the appointment, I asked. The gal I spoke with explained that the couples massage is a deep tissue massage and that is where the «$ 5 extra per person» came in. I explained that it was actually $ 10 per person and she actually ARGUED with me. That should have been my first clue, but I chalked it up to possibly a new employee and made the appointment anyway. Then, the day of our appointment, we checked out of our vacation rental early and hit the road for our 45 minute drive to Kalispell. Shortly after getting on the road, I missed a call from the massage therapist letting me know they had to delay our massages a bit. Annoyed that we rushed to check out of our rental early, but still looking forward to a relaxing massage, we kept the appointment. When we arrived for our delayed appointment, the massage therapists led us into a small room with two massage tables and proceeded to ask us the typical questions about injuries, areas to avoid, etc. My therapist asked about pressure and I told her that I was told this would be a deep tissue massage, so that was what I was looking forward to. Long story short, it was the worst massage I’ve ever experienced. It was not «deep tissue» and I wouldn’t even consider it a standard Swedish massage. In fact, she barely spent 10 minutes on my back, which is where I told her I’d like to be the focus. It was not relaxing at all and the entire time, we had to listen to the hair stylists in the room above us walking in high heels across their hard wood floor and it sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in on us. To top it off, they had no showers. Luckily I had some baby wipes so we could clean off the majority of the oil, but it still made for a very uncomfortable 3+ hour drive home covered in massage oil.
Truly, 2 stars is being generous. I regret even leaving a tip at all, especially after leaving and hearing that my husband’s massage was almost as bad as mine. We visit the area often, but I guarantee we won’t waste our time or money on a massage at this «spa».
