Nicco Floral Design

Nicco Florist did the Ash Hoo Kupu Ti Offering and Maile Lei for the Scattering of my husband’s ashes. It was the most beautiful arrangement! In addition to the arrangement that held the ashes and the accompanying Maile Lei, she gave us enough rose petals for everyone to throw in after the ashes. I wanted to tell you a bit about our ceremony. We chartered the boat (from your suggestion) from Kohala Divers. They were wonderful to us! We had 15 in our party. The Captain took the boat out opposite the home when we were staying and where Ken stayed last November. It is in Puako. We prayed, held hands, said our memories of Grandpa Ken, Uncle Kenneth… everyone was a part of this… and we cut the bag and I put out the first part and everyone had a turn to put the ashes into the ocean. We kept the plastic bag (per your suggestion) and put the Ti Offering into the ocean, followed by the Maile Lei, followed by the handful of rose petals. The Captain then circled the place where we left the ashes and flowers… he circled three times, blowing his horn each time… for love, honor, and respect. It was very moving, very beautiful and something that none of us will ever forget.
I can’t thank you enough for all you did to make this a very special occasion. I have left instructions with my heirs to repeat this same event for me when it is my turn to be remembered… and to have you do the honors. I hope they remember my wishes.

I can not say enough good things about Niccos They do amazing work and definitely go above and beyond. If any business wants to know how to increase their business, they should take note from these guys. They truly are amazing!!!
