Pretty darn good for what it is. The lady at the register was super nice and friendly! So that’s always a bonus!
The animated is always better than the regular film because the 3D just pops out much better. that’s what HE said.
Anyways, I think it is great for what it is. Short films w/​lots of adventures in a quiet plaza.

We had 2 for 1 coupons… made it more palatable. Actually was better than expected! 4 adults… we went on a Monday around lunch time and had the whole place to ourselves. Sat thru all the movies… laughed a lot and jumped when the little tubes at our feet whipped around. (two of us did.) go again? With the coupons yes… it was a hoot!
Oh yeah… ask them to do the subzero film last instead of first!

The only 4D theater on Hawaii Island. Great fun, but movie too short. Still enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and lots of parking. Great to get out of the heat of Waikoloa.

I think as a kid, this place would be loads of fun so I give it 4 stars.
But as an adult, I’d give it 3 stars.
To beat the heat and just out of curiosity, I checked it out when they offered free movies from 5−6pm daily. Also, we got free passes from eating at a restaurant at The Shops.
I liked the Portal the most, but I think the kids liked Yogi and Cloudy Chance of Meatballs as well. The staff there is nice. The chairs move and there are lots of different special effects during the ride. Movie lengths differ.
Take your kids here if you’re looking for something entertaining for them to do and to beat the heat!
