Very solid lookout. Unfortunately for us, it wasn’t very sunny out, so we couldn’t get the full beauty of the lookout. I will say that the lookout was well kept up, unlike a few others we stopped at that were riddled with trash and wack ass graffiti. Pali and the blowhole remain my top two.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Kaneohe, HI
In September of this year, I drove past this Lookout on the way to Unilocal Hawaii’s Passport to KBay Series of Events. Ever since, I had it on my Bucket List to go and check it out. Yesterday, 3 months later, I had time to visit… There are two Scenic Points which I will name«Upper» and«Lower». The entrance to the Upper Scenic Point is on the right side of the road as you head towards the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii(MCBH) on the H-3 Interstate Freeway. There is a turn around area before the Guard Station at the entrance to the Base. As you head back to town, the entrance to the Lower Scenic Point is also on the right side of the road. Both Scenic Points need maintenance. Sadly, there was litter and graffiti everywhere… Plastic garbage bags were tied to the railings of the stairs as there were no trash bins available. There was broken glass at the Lower Scenic Point. I still enjoyed the magnificent sunset despite the negative signs of human presence. Mother Nature still has awesome power and lured other photographers and tourists to these Scenic Points on this chilly December day! The Ko’olau Moutain Range and Kaneohe Bay have unique Hawaiian appeal!
