Ko’olau Baptist Academy is one of a kind. It is an excellent & caring school. It truly is a best kept secret of the Windward side. People are shocked by the competitive tuition price. Lower price does NOT equal lower quality. The level of academia offered at KBA is on par with the much higher priced schools out there. My nearly 5 year old daughter has been challenged & has learned to read basic words in the first couple of months under the instruction of her wonderful teacher. The emphasis on phonics has enabled her to sound out new & unfamiliar words. She is gaining an invaluable foundation that she will take with her the rest of her life! She is also being challenged in math & is learning about the exciting world around her. The kindergarten teacher balances a positive environment of praise & encouragement, while maintaining a good system of discipline that the student can perceive & visualize.
Most important to me, KBA’s education is bible-​based & my daughter is learning about God. She memorizes Scripture & that positive influence will follow her throughout her life.

We have been so blessed to begin our daughter’s education experience at Koolau. She is learning to hid God’s Word in her heart and apply it to her daily life while gaining an excellent foundation in literacy, mathematics, social studies and many more. Her teacher is passionate and enthusiastic each day in her providing our daughter with an education and teaching her how to live a Christian life. We could not be more satisfied with the open communication with staff members and her teacher as we work together to raise her up in the way she should go in Truth and in Light. The curriculum is challenging and excellent! The staff members are caring and always willing to help!

Our children have attended for 3 years and it is an excellent school. All the teachers we have met there have a lot of love and kindness. Excellent curriculum and encouraging environment to make friends.
