It’s Filipino tradition to release doves at our wedding. I had my wedding planner search for dove releases in Oahu. It took quite some time. Luckily, she was able to find Maureen! She offered either 2 or 12 doves. There’s nothing in between, just those 2 options.
For our wedding, 2 doves is all we need. The price that she quoted was reasonable, which is why we decided to go with her.
She doesn’t respond to e-​mail that quick, but she is great on the phone. My planner is the one who deals with her directly. This is the sense that I get from their communication.
She doesn’t accept credit card, just check. I just decided to hire her, and I am sending off the check in the mail today.
UPDATE:
The doves were at my wedding in time for our ceremony, and we were able to have them be part of our ceremony. My wedding planner was able to connect with them to make all of this seamless. During the ceremony, they patiently waited to the side, and when the time came for us to release the doves, they instructed us on how to do it!
I have no complaints. Everything was perfect and beautiful!
