If there was a way to give this place zero stars I would. I just drove 12 hours from Louisiana and me and my friends were going to purchase some goods. Before doing so we were going to take a funny picture of me taking a nap in front of the store. A lady came outside and threatened to call the cops on us. We were not causing a ruckus and are nice young ladies from Louisiana. We went to Walmart instead bc this lady was MEAN! I even told her we were going to purchase some things we just needed to take the pic first. I’ve been a manager in customer service field for a number of years… she is a miserable person and needs to be retrained in being a decent human being!

I love dollar stores as much as the next person. They are a great place to wander around and I can always find enough items to spend around $ 10. My recent good finds: –Betty Crocker red kitchen items, including measuring cups, teaspoons, spatulas. You bet I stocked up since they look pretty close to Kitchen Aid products at a helluva lot lower prices. –Small bags of Jelly Belly. They are tiny bags, but I’d never actually spend $ 4 on a normal size bag of them, so I am happy with the price. –Candles. I recently got some Air Wick vanilla and cinnamon candles that burn 35 hours each. Pretty good find since most of their other candles don’t burn very long. –Carpet cleaner. Might not be the best at getting dirt out as compared to other brands but it helps your carpet stay fresh and gets odors out. –iPhone cases. –Gift wrap/Christmas wrapping paper. –Air freshener/reed diffusers. I always pick up at least one. What I skip: –Medicine. The quantity they give you coupled with the expiration date makes me leery of dollar store drugs. To each their own though, cause my mom buys them. –Men’s razors. Just bought my husband some and he said they were awful. Might be better to spend some money on name brand razors so you don’t hack the sh*t out of your face. –Food. Some of their food they cut the sizes down so small that you could get a better deal at the grocery store. This could be a good or bad thing. If you only need a small amount of an item, then by all means spend the $ 1. If it’s something you’ll use or need a lot of, it’s better just to get the bigger quantity at the grocery store. –Dog food/bones. These are usually made in China and most pet products that have been recalled have been made in China. I don’t trust them. Dollar Tree is a great place to find lots of different items. The only tip I have is to be aware of how much most household and grocery items cost in the grocery store so you know whether you’re getting a good deal or just ripped off.

This is a pretty big dollar store with tons to choose from. They have a lot of party goods(decorations, plates, gift wrap, etc.) all for one dolla! The staff is always really friendly, and the store is clean. Who wouldn’t love getting things for the low?
