Vana’s was a real disappointment. Very few pumpkins and absolutely nothing for the kids to do other than complain

Imagine you are six years old. Imagine you *love* halloween(what six year old doesn’t??). Imagine you are in need of the perfect pumpkin. To that kid, Vana’s is a magical land. Ah, the lessons I learned here in pumpkins: — Pick one that has a nice smooth surface for carving. — Pick one that sits flat on the ground so it won’t tip over. — Pick one that has a nice stem so you can take the lid off to put the candle inside. I can’t speak for anything about Vana’s except the pumpkin land, but I drove to Vana’s with my family every year to pick out our Halloween pumpkins. As an adult, I can imagine that Vana’s isn’t the most exciting place in the world with their trailor for a haunted house and small petting zoo, but take your kids anyway. You can do all of the traditional pumpkin patch things, and your kids will remember it forever. I know I do. The haunted house is super scary(in that good way!) and there are SOMANY pumpkins. They have hay rides and fudge and little scenes where you can take your picture with your face on someone else’s body. It was loads of fun, and my mom says she had a good time with us too.
