This Walgreens is awful the pharmacy department is the slowest I have ever seen. I had a tooth pulled went to get medicine antibiotics and pain medicine along with one of my blood pressure medications that they already had on file. They said it would be done in 1 ½ hours which is a long time made worse from pain. went to pick them up pain medicine needed prior authorization from insurance then was told I was allergy flag on the antibiotics and was going to call the dentist to see if they wanted to change it to a different kind(although I have filled the same antibiotics at this store several times in the past). The blood pressure medicine was not filled either. told me it would be another two hours .I got my prescriptions back went a mile down the road to kankakee area pharmacy which had all three prescriptions filled in under 10 minutes(and had to call Walgreen for the blood pressure medicine). I have shopped at Walgreen before at different locations and they have never been as slow as the one on east court street every time I visit this store the pharmacy employees most definitely did not do there job properly

Its like every other Walgreens. I tried to pickup a Ch-ch-ch chia Obama head for the sake of novelty when I heard on the news that Walgreens was discontinuing the item due to customer back lash. The mature African American gentleman working that evening suggested I was racist for wanting to make the purchase. I suggested he was racist for selling it to me. On a hopefully unrelated note, they also screwed up my passport photo.

I have to keep updating my review because everything just keeps a’changing at this Walgreens. The female pharmacist from last time has still got me in a boycott of their pharmacy, but the rest of the store personnel are so nice that I wanted to make sure to say nice things about them. Last time I was in, there was the nicest lady working in cosmetics. I couldn’t find some lip gloss that I had a coupon for, so she walked around with me to help me find it. Once we finally found it, she told me to come back to cosmetics and she would ring me up. It took me awhile to find everything on my list and at one point I walked past her and she said«What can I help you find?» She was so sweet. When I got back to the register, she chatted away with me like we were old friends. I absolutely adore this kind of service. This snotty pharmacist could def-o take some soft skills/customer service skills from the employees in the front of the store.
