Aldi

The staff at this store skimmed my card. That means they stole my info with the credit card swiper and loaded it onto another physical card. They then tried to use it to buy items at Bed Bath and Beyond. And there’s no phone number for this store to call and complain! Nice job guys.
Stay the hell away from this mess of a store.

This area of town has been what is referred to as a food desert. The people of the community have been trying for over ten years to get a decent grocer to come in. The other chains considered the neighborhood too high a risk so they passed on various sites that were offered to them.
As of February however, the neighborhood now has an Aldi. I see this as a two-​fold blessing. Now the people of the community have a top notch grocer, but also one that is substantially more affordable than the majority of those found in the city proper and the suburbs. This Aldi is always extraordinarily clean, well maintained and well lit. The produce, meats, dairy and baked goods are always fresh and of high quality. The staff is exceptionally helpful and even when the lines get long the checkers are lightning fast. My partner and I have switched to doing the vast majority of our grocery shopping here and I don’t see us looking back any time soon. Very glad that Aldi came into this neighborhood.
