Put your big bloomers to get in and stay in for this one. Eat well. Heavy handed is a understatement. Not a bar for the faint of heart. It is fun and no one judges anyone. There a couple of pool tables. A couple of dart machines.
Know, if you want to know any line dance. This is the place to go. Want to learn how to dance that salsa like thing called «two stepping» like on those R. Kelly videos? The place to go. Someone will teach you. Someone will also laugh at you openly. But no one judges you. Just a good olé dive bar where everyone stays out of everyone else’s business.

For a Monday night, this place was rather busy! The bar was full, most of the tables were full, there were people shooting pool, and several people dancing.
I was carded upon entry, which I thought was odd because I definitely do not look underage and the bouncer was obviously younger than me. I later learned that it was because this place has a strict «No one under the age of 30» policy. I love that!
My friend and I were the only white people in the bar, and no one in the establishment seemed to care. I had a nice conversation with a couple of people near the bar while waiting for our drinks.
Though the people were nice, the bar itself is pretty bare and a little run down. I was going to give it a 2 because in terms of all the bars I’ve been to it’s probably at about the 35^th percentile, but I decided to give them one more star because their «No one under 30» policy is awesome. :)
