This Catherine’s is by far my favorite in the city. They always have my size, and always have clothes I want to wear. The customer service is fantastic, and they can usually point you to just what you are looking for. The store is organized to easily find what you want. Career clothes on the left, casual on the right. The career clothes get more formal the further back you go. The casual clothes get more casual(jeans) the further back you go. Finally they have a clearance rack that warms my little fat girl heart. The bra section has increased in size dramatically the last year or so. I don’t buy mine here, but they do seem to have a lot of selection. Sometimes they have people who can actually fit you too. Another good thing about this store, is that what you see online is often hanging on the racks. I like this because I browse online but I like to try things on before I buy. This years clothes are running a little heavy on the polyester. This material doesn’t breathe and makes a fat girl sweat. This is not a becoming or comfortable look. They also have the rayon dresses that flow nicely, but who can afford to dry clean them. Their Liz and Me brand is always good poly-cotton blends, and they have finally caught on that we LIKE longer t-shirts. And while I like a little sparkle, they went crazy with the sequins last year. This year it is toning down a bit, but the studs are taking up the slack. They have a new line of clothes called Added Dimensions that is very attractive. The colors are more bold, and the looks are less country club or yacht wear. Definitely a nice change. Sizes run from 14 — 36, 0X to 5X, sometimes a 6X. They carry a full range of plus size clothing — pajamas, undies, accessories, hose, bras, spanx, casual, t-shirts, shorts, sweaters, career and formalwear. No shoes. But you don’t need a fat girl store for shoes.
