I’ve eaten here several times and never had anything that I didn’t like. Once, they forgot to give me a side, tracked me down and told me that I could come back and get some free food for the inconvenience. The Charlie D’s has some pretty good lunch deals and have a pretty nice variety on their menu. Good food and good customer service is what keeps me coming back.

Found this little gem by complete accident! The fried fish is excellent! The catfish is some of the best I ever had, they the homemade desserts! And the pink lemonade!!! Awesome!!!

I actually had no idea that Charlie D’s existed, until I found myself in the neighborhood one day. They have very reasonable lunch specials and also have a daily special. I sampled the basa daily special and had the fish sandwich. Both come with your choice of an extensive variety of sides, like beans, spaghetti, mac and cheese, vegetables, okra, cole slaw, get my point??? Like, a million sides to choose from!
I called in my order to go, and by the time I showed up, my food was ready for pick up at the counter. Service was friendly and efficient. If you are in the area, try it out, it’s pretty darn good food.
