Crestwood Flowers

I ordered these flowers over the phone for a friend in the hospital. I believe I spoke with Ruth Ann who said they could make the Warm Vase arrangement offered on their website in spring colors. With delivery it was over $ 70. After seeing a photo of the flowers that were delivered I called and expressed my disappointment but was offered nothing for my dissatisfaction. I realize all flowers are not always available but I find it hard to believe a florist would offer this as an alternative to what I ordered. It’s not that I was expecting to get more than what I was willing to pay for. I could’ve ordered the $ 35 arrangement but I wanted them to look good. I do not recommend this shop.

Good shop, the red roses were nice and fresh. The hydrangeas looked fantastic. A little pricey, but not bad.

I was in need of a quick stop for flowers for a special occasion. Using my trusty Unilocal app Crestwood came up with a perfect rating and was on my way.
I was greeted immediately by when I walked in and offered assistance (by the owner I believe) After explaining I needed a simple flower bouquet, we walked over to the coolers. I think she had me pegged the moment I walked in the door and she let me know that she just picked up tulips that morning. I love tulips. For me they symbolize so much and the perfect flower for a spring bouquet. She had a gorgeous selection of bright colors including two shades of pink. Perfect! I grabbed a bundle of each shade.
I needed to travel about 30 minutes with the flowers and not thinking, I was topless. This posed what I thought would be a problem. I wanted the flowers in a vase. They were perfectly arranged and she found the perfect box to keep them from tipping over as they sat on my floorboard hiding from the wind.
The flowers were a hit. Turns out the recipient loves tulips also. Crestwood helped start off what would be an amazing evening with the perfect selection.
The lady who helped me goes to the flower market each morning to select flowers. I was very impressed with the service, the flowers, the location. Everything was just perfect making this my new go to flower spot! If you need flowers, you won’t go wrong coming here!

This was the first time working with Crestwood Flowers. Unilocal has so far been tried-​and-​true, so I first starting calling around looking for calla lilies to the top ranked shops around Kansas City. My first impression is that they get their flowers from local vendors and farms (I’m not entirely sure who you would go to). She (I can’t recall her name) told me she would call her contact and could pick them up the next morning and have them ready before lunchtime. I really wanted to find them same-​day, but I quickly found these are special order only. As she seemed the most personal over the phone, I decided to go back to my first call.
I called back not six minutes later to find she had already called her contact and assured me she could get them. She told me they were $ 10/​flower, so I told her I wanted 5, but I also needed a vase and to have it ready as an arrangement. She was kind enough to only charge me $ 50 for the entire arrangement. My initial impression of the store was quaint, clean, and it is situated in a nice little shopping area. As on the phone, they were both very friendly with a welcoming «hello» when I walked in the door. The arrangement was exactly what I was hoping and they even gave me a free card to write a note. I would highly recommend this establishment and if I need flowers again I will return!

Ruth Ann, the owner, is as good as it gets! Hands down.

We worked with Ruth Ann at Crestwood Flowers on our wedding flowers and we couldn’t have been happier. We talked to a few other florists briefly but after having met with Ruth Ann, we knew we would work well with her. She knows her stuff, knows her prices, and is just easy to work with.
We met with her in the shop one day to spit ball some ideas and she directed us to look for some ideas online and then we’d sit down to talk them over. We did a little homework and met with her one day with a list of things we liked and some ideas of what we wanted and she was able to help us narrow it down to exactly what we needed and we were all set!
We picked up our flowers the day of the wedding (they were totally flexible on when we could pick them up so that it was totally convenient on an otherwise busy day) and they looked fantastic. We got 150 beautiful gerber daisies in the exact colors we wanted. She also did our boutonnieres and did a few extra ones because she found some dahlias (which we kicked around using but decided they’d be a little much) that were great looking. Glad she did because those were the ones that we chose to wear as they were perfect and beautiful.
Our flowers looked awesome, they were a terrific price and working with Ruth Ann was a breeze! Two enthusiastic thumbs up from us!

I have lived next door to Crestwood flowers for 8 years. The owner, Ruth Ann, is one of the nicest flower shop owners you will ever meet. She knows her customers by name and takes great pride in her arrangements. This locally owned florist has been in Crestwood for more then 20 years. Support Local!
You won’t get a better arrangement or better customer service than Crestwood flowers

We wanted to send some flowers to a family member who was having surgery. Since we aren’t local, I did a search and came across Crestwood. I spoke with Ruth Anne on the phone who worked with me to create a custom arrangement. She was professional and efficient. They had the flowers at the surgery center the next morning so they were waiting in her room when our grandmother got out of surgery. The arrangement was beautiful and family members have not stopped telling us how wonderful the flowers smell. Thanks to Crestwood, we were able to send our love from afar! I’d highly recommend giving them a call for all your floral projects, we’ll definitely use Crestwood again.

Been here twice now. First time was redeeming a gift card I won at a silent auction to get a bouquet for a sick friend. Second time was for a friend who had a horrible week. Friendly, local, and smells wonderful when you’re in there. Not my «local flower shop» but whenever I’m in KCMO it is.
Reasonably priced.
