I lived in Devling Place for 2 years while I attended medical school in KC. I paid less and had more space than any of my classmates. For the space available, I think the price is very fair. I lived alone but definitely had plenty of room for a roommate if I had wanted one. This is also one of few complexes in the area that allows large dogs without breed restrictions. The staff is helpful and friendly. When I had a maintenance request, it was almost always addressed within the hour, and always within 24 hours. They were also willing to help with extra things, like hooking up the washer and dryer — even though that equipment belonged to me. I never had any problems with my lease and they were very accommodating with my move out date. There isn’t much directly in this area — a Target and a Festival Foods grocery store — but it’s a fair distance from Zona Rosa and the Plaza. I felt like this was a good location that is pretty centrally located. I would recommend this complex to others.

I love my apartment here at Devling. This is the largest 2 bedroom apartment that I have found and they washer/dryer hookups. Kara is super nice and always quick to respond! Maintenance staff are all nice and get any issue fixed quick! The community is very quiet and very well maintained. Best apartment complex I have ever lived at!

So for the record, I am a future tenant of Devling Place. I am in the process of selling my home and I’ll be moving into Devling Place on a still to be determined date. Even though I am not yet an official resident, I am EXTREMELY impressed with Devling Place! For starters, I did not expect to be leaving my home. However, my 19 year marriage recently ended, thus putting me in the market for new housing. As I began my search, I quickly found many places did not want to even speak to me, literally, as I could not provide a definite move in date. I would be asked to call back once my «affairs were in order» and there was no effort to sell me on their living space. I even went to a couple of locations during their business hours, only to find the office closed, for no apparent reason. I could only assume those properties were bursting at the seam with tenants. You’ve heard the phrase ‘First impressions are lasting impressions’. My first, second and umpteenth impression with Devling Place has been outstanding! I found their website and their apartments had everything I was looking for, plus some. While I was not looking for any fancy amenities, it was crucial I have Google Fiber. I mean, let’s be serious! I sent an email requesting information and Kara, their wonderful, charming property manager, responded to me the very next day! When I called, it was clear to me, even without seeing the units, this could be the place for me. Kara was able to schedule a time for me to view an apartment on New Year’s Eve. Yes — NEWYEAR’S EVE! I was very surprised that anyone would be working, much less readily available to meet at 5pm. When I arrived, Kara was ready for me, exceedingly polite and very excited to show me her property. At first glance, the grounds were clean, the parking ample and the buildings tidy. Taking me through the apartment, I continued to be impressed with the size of its rooms, their openness and the closet space. Not to mention the counter space in the kitchen. I could go on, but suffice it to say I was SOLD! I submitted my application on line and the rest, as they say, is history. Again, I don’t even live there yet but I am sure Devling Place will be a wonderful place to live. Many of their residents are long term, it’s easily accessible to interstates and they have Google Fiber! And their property manager definitely makes you feel at home. I can’t wait!
