Drury Inn

Had to do an overnight at this hotel and I wasn’t very impressed. I was greeted exceptionally well by the front desk manager and the food service staff bent over backwards for us. The free breakfast and dinner were fresh and healthy… can’t beat this deal anywhere! However, the hotel rooms at this location could use some upgrading… especially for what they are charging for no pool. Not sure I’ll stay at this one next month, I think we will try the Drury in Blue Springs

A really great place to stay. As with the Drury chain, their hot breakfasts and customized dinner/​kickbacks are always appreciated.
The room was a bit dated but very clean and cozy. The beds/​pillows are comfy. Split bathroom, which I’m not too crazy about. The room felt cramped but that wasn’t a deal-​breaker. We were assigned a room right across from laundry/​housekeeping, but the brick walls of the hotel made the sound insulation very nice. It reminded me of the Drury Inn in Sikeston, MO.
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
Small workout room had a few treadmills, an elliptical, and free-​weights which was nice. Outdoor pool which I didn’t use, so I don’t know if they have a hot tub or not. Also a (run down) Denny’s restaurant next door.

Outstanding place to stay, the staff goes out of their way to please you. The free breakfast was exceptional

Clean lobby and accommodations with friendly, professional staff. Pet friendly hotel without any evidence of pet damage in the halls/​rooms. Great room amenities including free wifi and snacks throughout the day. Only drawback is that the building itself is obviously older, but our stay was excellent.

From the reservation to checkout, everything was easy. The hotel was so clean, tasteful and comfortable. Excellent coffee in the morning helped me start my KC visit off right. I did not partake in the evening snacks and drinks but it sounded good. Erin checked me in and was helpful about local dinner places. On top of that, the military discount was really appreciated. I will stay again.

Love the customer service at this hotel. Nice place to stay. We will bring our own rubber mat next time, cause almost fell in shower!

We stayed here for a Royals game. Didn’t know what to expect, but we were very pleased. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly/​helpful staff and a GREAT breakfast. They even have snacks and hot beverages well into the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our move from the southeast to Colorado. The rooms were clean, shower pressure was great, and bed was comfy. (Our room was a little toasty, but cooled as the night went on). The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and the hot free breakfast was probably the best I have ever had. The eggs were really fresh and I enjoyed the oatmeal. We had a great night of rest and a hearty breakfast to send us on our way. What more could you ask for?

We stayed here one night while in town for a concert. We were only in the hotel about 8 – 9 hours total including sleeping time but it was an easy, pleasant stay. The front desk associates were friendly and helpful. We didn’t take advantage of the free snacks or breakfast but it was a nice option to have. The free wifi was great and I especially love that they are pet-​friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom appeared clean but we were in and out without really utilizing it in our haste to get back home. Overall, it was a nice stay and the price was great. It definitely sold me on looking into staying at Drury Inns in the future.
