SUCH a great place to buy artsy and unique things – whether it be a gift for a friend or something for your house. Like Stacy said below, it’s an artist coop so Kansas City residents, who also happen to be artists, get to put their work on display here – whether it be beautiful stone jewelry or knitted baby clothes or Christmas ornaments– and then you can buy it! The jewelry/​metalsmith pieces are so unique and fun, and I still receive compliments from people whom I’ve given the jewelry to as presents.

Artists only need apply! I love this shop for unique, handmade gifts. The artisans who create also offer their time to run the shop.
We buy a holiday ornament from this shop every year. I love the uniqueness. Every time I go in, I find something new. From knitted pieces, to stoneware, jewelry, wall pieces, embroidery, yard art… you name it. But if you love it, buy it then. Because if it sells, you’re sol. I’ve also had artists go out of their way to help with a purchase. Prices range widely, but you can find something for everyone here. Such a great place.
The shop is located in a mainly residential area, at the corner of Gregory and Oak.

This is a really neat little store tucked in at the corner of Gregory and Oak. It is actually an artist-​coop. Everyone who works there is also one of the artists whose work is sold. As far as I know, it is all KC area folks.
You can always get a hint of what will surround you when you open the door by checking out the window display. They pick an overall theme every month, and the display always reflects it. The shop also holds a gallery opening every month.
There are a variety of art pieces for sale — jewelry, ceramics, paintings, mixed media pieces, fiber — from the functional to decorative. Some stuff is definitely not my taste, but it’s hard to find a shop where you are going to love everything. Eclectics is one of my go-​to places when I need a unique gift, especially for my mom or my sister.
