Elite Physical Therapy and Integrative Health

I’m sure this is a great place for some issues, I wouldn’t give it another try, though. Twice now I’ve had issues that just seemed to baffle PTs there which caused them to just fob me off to pelvic floor therapy, the ER, anywhere else, when it was an easily fixable PT issue from a standard PT. My most recent PT there seemed to just not care, which caused me to end up in a very dangerous medical situation – when the problem was scar tissue that was removed by a different PT within 3 sessions who had me walking pain free in ONE WEEK whereas the Elite PT had me crippled and in severe pain. The first time I wasn’t diagnosed, and really needed a PT who could help with that. The PT was as baffled as this recent one. Either they don’t care about more severe cases and want to make you leave by ignoring you or they are not competent enough to handle anyone with anything more than a knee, elbow or shoulder issue.
This PT also would NOT stop trying to play amateur psychologist, despite repeated requests for her to STOP. Her inadequate treatment ended up causing me thousands of dollars, It’s not the patient’s job to be able to gauge whether a PT is good or not, we don’t have those credentials. Luckily I finally found a great one who solved the issue this Elite PT literally told me to go to the ER for, as if it wasn’t her JOB to address post surgical and scar tissue issues. She tried, but couldn’t figure it out. First Elite PT I had was the same, just couldn’t figure a single thing out. Surely there is SOMEONE there who can do adequate PT, but I wasn’t lucky enough to ever get booked with them.
I think the fact that I was scar tissue free and able to go on walks again without pain within THREE sessions with a new PT speaks volumes on its own after a few months at Elite.

Elite Sport’s Medicine and Physical Therapy is the best option for physical therapy. I have been to many PT’s prior to a hip replacement. I never received therapy, I received directions on how to do the therapy. Elite believes in taking care of the whole person. They listen, they are with you 100% of the time, and they care about whether you progress or not.
Going to Elite therapy changed my life and the way I think about my future. While it is true that the founder is not taking anymore patients, I also know he only hires the best, the people that will follow his philosophy and he trains his team to follow his example.
The therapist I had could not have been better as he (Matt), motivated and encouraged me on days when I was really tired. Matt could take me from completely bent over with back pain to walking upright within a half hour to an hour. He was amazing! I look forward to seeing them again when I have my next hip replacement in March!
Truly this Physical Therapy center is more than physical, as the care given combines the physical with the mental to treat the person, not just a hip or arm, or whatever!
