Jiffy Lube

I really like this Jiffy Lube location. The mechanics and service clerks are vey polite. Most of the time I don’t have to wait very long for my car to be serviced. I have had nothing but good experiences here.

Great experience on a Sunday. They got to me and got me taken care of in a Jiff. I chose to use my unexpected non-​waiting time to write this review. Very professional service technician, as well.

Although I purchased a $ 25 Groupon coupon, they tried to sell me synthetic oil which would add another $ 125 to my bill. I refused and was told I still needed to pay $ 35 for the oil change. That made it a $ 60 oil change. That’s just nuts! Other local shops offer an (on sale) oil change for $ 21.95. This Goupon purchase was a waste of money and Jiffy Lube… a ripoff.

DO NOT GO HERE. I tried to give this place ZERO stars, but it had to make me do at least 1. I will not recommend it nor go back. I spent $ 248 on an oil service and transmission service. I noticed my 2013 Chevrolet Equinox sounded different over the past few weeks. I had my vehicle looked at, and there was NO air filter! I spend $ 42 purchasing an air filter and installing it myself. I go back to this location to see if they would make it right, but they would only refund me $ 27; which is the cost of the air filter they sell. This is unacceptable. This could have done major damage to my engine. I then called Jiffy Lube corporate customer service. After 1 hour, 20 minutes, and 8 seconds on being on hold, I decided I would finally hang up. I did not want to hang up, just to see how long it would take. I finally gave up. DO NOT GO HERE.

Been coming here for several years, different cars, they always do a good job. It’s tough trying to do something that people really don’t want to do, like getting a tooth filled. Oil changes keep going up in price, yet per barrel prices are half what they were a year ago, sounds like oil changes places are looking at record profits which = a good stock pick.
Anyway, they do a job, do it right, and it was fairly quick. See you guys in another 10,000 miles.

Went in earlier today and got an oil change and tire rotation. The staff was friendly. Arrived at 9:45 and didn’t get out of there until 11. I almost missed my tee time because of the delay. They were busy and I understand that, but there were two people that arrived after me and left before me. That was upsetting. I saw the manager come in and out of the reception area multiple times to talk to people about their air filters (he was ¹⁄₃ on the sales while I was sitting there). They didn’t seem to be in a hurry even though all the bays were being used with people waiting to get in. They gave me $ 5 off for the delay which is the only reason I put 2 stars. Also, don’t get high mileage oil here, it cost me $ 55 for it as opposed to $ 35-​$ 45 elsewhere. Will not be returning.

I worked at this location when it was brand new. I was actually an assistant manager for about a year. Back then we pumped 60 or more cars in and out everyday. If it took more than 15 mins to get a full service done we were doing something really wrong. Things have really gone down hill since then. Recently moved back to kc area and figured i would start bringing my truck and the wifes car here again. Brought the truck last week. wasn’t impressed. Here today with the wifes car. been 20 mins and it just got pulled in the shop. Nothing jiffy about it anymore. Seems really unorganized and sloppy. Actually watched a guy talk on his cell phone for like 15 mins. he was trying to work at the same time and didn’t know what needed to be done next. Gave ya 2 tries won’t be comin back here. Gave 2 stars cause they are a friendly group of guys but that doesn’t get the job done. Update finally got done with oil change. It took 1 hr and 45 mins total! There was probably 4 cars in front of me but come on thats F-​in ridiculous!

I just tried to drop off my car for a quick oil change for my company car. 3 different people told me they would be right with me. Looking in the shop area I could see 3 employees barley working and talking amongst themselves mostly. I ended up waiting 20 minutes for someone to help me. When Kelly finally took my information she was very incompetent in the basics of a computer. She had to call for assistance 3 times to get it entered. I will not come back.
UPDATE: They never called me back. I called them 10 minutes before they closed to ask when my car will be ready. She replied with a swift «oh yea that’s ready»
As if it had been ready for a considerable amount of time.
Do not go here.

Got the «Deluxe Oil Change» for my car today. They were quick and courteous, and even helped me scrape a sticker off my windshield without charge. They proactively checked all my systems and talked me through everything they did. My car is running like a dream now — I’ve never felt so great about a mechanic service before.

Got a quick safety inspection and oil change by the crew here. Showed up unexpectedly and was out in 20 minutes. Great crew and Wyatt is very cute!

Take advantage of the early bird special! I stopped here because I noticed the light that looks like a genie’s lamp — my oil indicator light or whatever its called — was flashing from time to time. Since it’s wicked cold and I don’t like the idea of being stranded with a broken down vehicle I decided not to wait until morning and take advantage of the early bird special. The jury is still out as yeah, maybe I couldn’t have made it until morning, but then my oil light kept going on.
I came in for a basic oil change but it kept going up and up in price — my air filter was dangerously dirty for instance, requiring a replacement. The mechanic lay the filter on the hood and yes, it looked dirty to me as well. Also, my car uses synthetic oil, which adds to the cost. Right or wrong, I came away feeling as if I had been deceived when in fact I should probably get up early or develop better sales resistance.
They hook the car up to some sort of diagnostic machine and explain the status of all of your car’s systems. Everyone is very courteous. They sound and act sincere. Yes I agreed to all of the services and yes it’s probably good they topped off this and that but from what I imagined would be a double digit quick service turned into a triple digit servicing. I can’t complain about the quality of the service only about the cost, and in fact the filter that they sold me was about what I’d pay elsewhere or online. So in fact they were not ripping me off and the fact that it was more then I wanted to spend really isn’t a reason to fault this shop.

went to this jiffy lube before i got back on the road to head home from kansas city. the early bird special was GREAT. between 7am and 10am they give 10 bucks off ANY service that you order for your vehicle. i got 3 services and saved 30 bucks. what would have cost me 100 bucks ended up being 70. also, the BEST customer service i have received in 2011 and the BEST auto service i have ever received. i totally recommend this place
