My morning coffee spot when I’m too lazy to make a cup for my short commute to downtown. Love the selection and awesome customer service. Service with a smile even when I’ve walked in at 6 am. Lastly, their pumpkin loaf is amazing!

I’ve lived in the Plaza a long time but happened to drop into Kaldi’s only recently. I tried the Turkish latte and it was wonderful! Frothy, with a hint of cardamom and not too sweet. a perfect winter drink! I thought it was a bit expensive though (over $ 4 for 12oz) and the seating space inside is small. But on a nice warm day the outside seating is perfect to enjoy the weather and to watch the plaza :)

Had a brief stay in Kansas City and stopped here for some coffee while walking around Country Club Plaza. Ordered an iced matcha tea latte and an iced vanilla latte, which were both amazing. I’d recommend stopping by if you like lattes– they make them really well and they’re not sugary, which is rare to find.

Seltzer water is a nice touch here in the side. Better than all big chains with a Classic Italian vibe.
This shop is on the small side– but nicely done. Staff was helpful and fast.

By far best coffee/tea option on the plaza, every drink is so delicious, even dairy free options maintain that level of a highly satisfying beverage. it’s such a great place to hit up, solo, with friends or after dinner date coffee. their green tea is so smooth rivaling any specialty tea shop. you can drink their cappuccinos with no sugar and not miss it at all rich, smooth and naturally sweet. although if you do put sugar in its no big deal, their not pretentious about. once you buy it it’s yours and you can do what ever the hell you want with it, no judgment here.

One of my fav coffee shops in the KC area. This has a friendly community vibe. People come to study, chit chat, and come for a cup of coffee and leave.
I ordered their «Gibrilator» which is a latte type espresso poured inside a glass tumbler. I love it because it’s almost like a flat white just a bit more strong.
An interesting thing I loved was how they serve their drinks. They place it on top of this wooden board with three chocolate covered espresso beans and a glass of mineral water for palate cleansing.
Overall this coffee shop is a good one and well worth the top coffee joints in KS and KC!
