Went to a gun show(as have with many previous gun shows). Huge space to have many vendors and clean bathrooms. Parking is kind of a nightmare, especially if you go Saturday afternoon. Get there when they open and it’s better.

It’s a nice space for events. We have attended many gun shows here and the parking tends to fill up quickly and then be limited to street parking. The lobby is large and fairly nice. The restrooms are also large, cleaned well stocked. The snack bar area is a bit lacking, but that is so minor given that the facility is large, clean and well-maintained.

I have heard of this place for years and finally stopped in to see it. Full disclosure, the negative is that it’s located in the Up, Up, and Away Café in the Expo Center. The experience is a little lessened by that. Otherwise, a great history of TWA. Seven large glass display cases with history and memorabilia from the 1930s to the early 1980s. Highlights are uniforms, mainly flight attendants including those from the TWA Foreign Accent flights where cabin crew wore English bar wench attire, or a la mode French foil dresses, among others. Pilot blazers, hats, uniform coat and hat from when TWA pilots trained Lufthansa pilots. Early pilot training simulator, it looks like a child ride outside a grocery store. Great detailed history of the evolution of TWA and it’s connection to the larger world and U.S. history. The exhibits will take you an hour or so. Worth the trip
