Pros: — *BIGPLUS* Clean. The weights are always racked, the showers and locker room areas are tidy, and everything is orderly. — *BIGPLUS* Has power-lifting platforms, 4 squat racks, and allows chalk. — *BIGPLUS* I tend to go at around 7pm on weekdays, and it has never been busy. I have not waited for any weights, equipment, or racks. — Free towel service, indoor lap-pool, massage pool, and a sauna. — All of the machines seem to be either brand new or well maintained, have yet to run across an old or sub-par piece of equipment. — Indoor track. –Basketball court. –Multiple studio spaces. –Racket ball court. –Rents out equipment. –Volleyball(May require prior reservation, I am not entirely certain, but I have seen people play on multiple occasions.) –The staff is helpful and considerate. Cons: — The number of machines. This is not really a big downside for someone that focuses on free weights and spends most of his/her time in the squat rack or on a platform, but if you do from time to time use a machine just keep in mind there are not 2 or 3 of the same machine. They do however cover all the essentials and more with the machines available, and after spending 2 weeks at the gym I have yet to see a line or some sort of backup in this area. — The hours. They close on 10PM on weekdays(Mon-Thurs) and open at 12pm on Sundays, which works well for me, but if you workout late at night or early mornings(on Sunday) this may be something to keep in mind. Overall: –A great gym. I actually canceled my membership at my previous gym and started simply working out at Kirmayer.
