You know I wasn’t impressed with much, but I’m 20 years old and what I like now will not be what I like when I’m 40, I’m sure. It’s a total mom store with a twist, and the twist is a mini prom/wedding department in the back of the store — odd, but something came of it! I was about to leave — nothing was drawing me — it was a «blah» moment. The 3rd floor stores of Crown Center hold less interest to me than the other floors, there’s less people and dead businesses tend to bring my mood down. Anyways — there was one dress — one simple, beautiful dress that caught my eye on a mannequin in the back surrounded by cheesy, sparkly, dresses that could have been exact duplicates from the Sears formal clearance rack. I posted the photos of the dress on Unilocal,so please take a look — it was $ 130 and well worth it: a slimming white chiffon dress(I don’t usually like white dresses) with black detailing(I especially usually never like white and black formal dresses — it’s so Jessica McClintock) and it was paired with a dainty white chiffon scarf(and more than anything, I usually can never stand wraps or scarves with formal ware). So everything was seemingly wrong with it — but it was geniusly constructed. The photos I took don’t do it justice, because it’s hard to make out the detailing of the braided black belt and black shoulder straps tucking the flowing grecian inspired dress perfectly. And it gets better: the woman came up to me and told me the dress and detailing could be in any color I wanted — in the world — ever — for no extra cost. I would have purchased it right then and there had I not remembered I have absolutely nothing to wear it to… sigh…can somebody get married already and invite me — please — I’ll change the color of the dress so that it’s not white! And while I was tempted to allot 4 stars for the dress alone — this wouldn’t be fair because the rest is honestly either«blah» or baby boomer mom stuff.
