We drive about 4 hours to KC and ALWAYS come here for lunch buffet or dinner! The BEST Indian food anywhere! The service is wonderful, the owner is always on the floor helping and adding his flare of entertainment. They’re very generous with samples of foods, ice cream, Chi tea, etc. Its a wonderful place. If you’ve never eaten Indian the buffet is the way to go! Parking is limited and sometimes you have to park a bit away but its well worth it!

Holy moly you guys: I wanted comfort Indian food and my mind and stomach are blown! The place is in Westport and is super cute. The food is fast, fresh, and they can alter the spice level to preference. I’m a huge tikki masala fan and this was Devine! Their chai tea was absolutely perfect. I’m really impressed! They have a homey feel as well– I’m positive there is a family recipe behind this. After the meal I was given some frozen melon, those sweet donuts and rice pudding. This location is right near the hotels in the area and I’m certain I’ll be back!

This place was just ok for me. We came for the lunch buffet because I haven’t had an Indian buffet in a while. I’m from out of town and I always try to find good Indian when I go out of town. That’s kind of obvious by my reviews, I suppose. We arrived right before noon or so. The place was pretty empty but it was cold as balls outside, so I wasn’t too surprised by that. We were seated immediately. The first thing I noticed was that the buffet was very small. My smaller city back home has larger selection than this place did. So that was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, we get our food. It’s all the usual suspects. Chicken tikka, byriani, some lamb deal, a few fried things. It was just meh. When we got back to our table, they had left us a sweet drink of some sort. That was nice of them. I’m not into sweet things too much, but I tried it. It was nice if you like that sort of thing. The chicken tikka I had first was quite bland. In fact, everything was pretty bland. I was also disappointed in the gravy, which was too runny. It had been reduced too much. The chicken was relatively flavorless chunks of breast meat. When the naan arrived, it was just ok. It’s obvious they had it sitting under some sort of heat lamp or they didn’t cook it the traditional way. It was floppy and, at times, soggy. Flavor was alright. I went back up to try a few other things. Some fried pankora deal and it was clearly not fresh. I wouldn’t necessarily say it was a disappointing experience, but I wasn’t the least bit impressed. The place was clean from what I could tell. The service was decent as well.

I came here for lunch a few days ago. As we walked in, we were offered a small glass of mango lassi, They offer a variety of food, a variety of chicken curry, lamb curry, and vegetable dishes. I love their chicken tandoory and the lamb curry. the meats were very juicy. however, one of the chicken curry was a disappointment — the chicken was very dry. they also had another dish that is a blend of various vegetables. If you don’t like mushy vegetable, don’t take it. I, on the other hand, enjoyed it. their naan was good also. they were a little bit thicker than usual, other than that, it was perfect. Even though the food is good, i wish they can improve on their lighting… it was a cloudy day and i don’t think their lighting was sufficient at all. in addition, i was thinking to use the restroom at the end of the meal. the restroom was situated at the back. it was dark and you can see that it was a mess back there… for the price they were charging, you would’ve hoped that they would maintain their restaurant better.

The place is a mess! It’s dirty, staff are not friendly, and it’s overpriced. Go to Chai Shai or Taj Palace. Check out their health code violations on the city website — plentiful!

I came here for a dinner date on a Friday at 7pm. If you’re looking for parking, then just park in the garage next to Char Bar and walk over since street parking was limited. This place was small and cozy with colorful décor. There were maybe five or six other tables already there eating. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even walked around the restaurant to see if anybody needed anything. There were a lot of choices on the menu to choose from, but we decided on the Korma Sutra Non-Vegetarian Dinner for two persons($ 42.95). It had chicken samosas, coconut soup, lamb saag, basamati rice, chicken tika masala, naan, galub jamun, and carrot halva which was a variety of what was offered on the menu. There was also a vegetarian option as well for those interested. The food came out shortly after we ordered. The coconut soup was tasty, the chicken samosas were dry, the lamb saag was interesting in a good way, the chicken tika masala was delicious, the basamati rice and nann were delicious, the galub jamun was okay, and finally the carrot halva was sweet but good. It was enough food for two people and we had leftovers. BTW, the food still tasted good even as leftovers. I didn’t take pictures of everything with my phone but that was fine. Korma Sutra had good Indian food and if you like Indian food, then come check it out.

I love this place. It’s such a cute, quirky little restaurant and the food is really good in comparison to the indian I’ve tried elsewhere. I love the Samosas, and the Chicken Tikka and Lamb Vindaloo. My one disappointment was that they didn’t have aloo Gobi on the menu, that’s one of my favorite indian dishes. I love that you get a free rice dessert and chai with your meal, and the Chai is delicious! I’d definitely recommend this,(during the week if you’re not willing to brave the Westport parking situation) and despite being in such a busy area we’ve always been seated immediately.
