Nails So Happy

We got right in for 3 pedis on a Saturday. We all got the same pedicure but everyone did it different from the scrub to the massage to the lotions. It’s good for a quick stop.

With such affordable and reasonable price. You can really see your self coming back to this neat salon. Amazed! With the tech skills and customer service. They did a wonderful job with my nails! And let me tell you that Nails So Happy delivered that excellent service! Highly recommend this salon!

My friend and I got pedicures. We chose one of the most expensive options but felt like they were rushing and had very little skills. The entire pedicure lasted only 20 minutes long and both of us had paint on our cuticles and they didn’t smooth our heels very well.
Very disappointed :(will never go back.

I went to Nails So Happy for a pedicure last Saturday and the polish started chipping in three days. This place need to hire new techs and have better nail polish selections. I will never go here again they are pricey and have the nerve to want to charge extra for every little thing. I should have known this place was horrible since they were not busy on a Saturday afternoon. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Nail Envy have much better nail techs than this establishment. Go to Nail Envy. (Nail Envy is not paying me to say this either)

The place was clean and comfortable. My technician was nice. I was greeted when I walked in without an appointment and they sat me right away. I came in for an acrylic fill and I was in and out in 30 minutes. The cost was comparable to other salons in the area.
That’s the good. The bad was she butchered my cuticles. I actually left there bleeding. And my fill was shoddy. It’s now two days later and my nails look like I need to have another manicure.
In a pinch, this place might be ok. But I won’t plan on coming back.

The women that did my nails and Brazilian wax had no idea how to do their jobs. While getting my nails done they cut my cuticles several times without apologizing. Even worst was the Brazilian wax. It lasted way longer than it should have. She kept letting the wax get cold and she had to stop in the of it to clean all the wax off so she can go on. Overall she had no idea what she was doing. For all of this I paid $ 147 and was not worth it!

I have been getting gel manicures here for 2 years now. The places I went before the gel never stayed on. Jenny is great! My manicures last 2 to 3 weeks now. Everyone at the shop is really nice and caring.

This is a terrible place to get your nails done. My experience was less than satisfactory. My gel manicure was rushed and done poorly. The gel manicure started chipping after a few days. They are over priced for the kind of service they provide. I feel as though it’s important to be completely satisfied especially when you have explained that you are a new customer. I went there once and I will never return again. Poorest Quality!

If you’re in the Legends area and want quality work and fair pricing go to Tiara Nails (formerly Nails Etc. on Parallel by Danny’ s bar and grill), I will never go to Nails So Happy again! While my gel manicure (KC painted on each ring finger) was $ 40, my basic pedi (no artwork) $ 30 and painting nails and toenails and adding polka dots on my five year old niece was $ 25! Yes a $ 95 bill plus tip, no discount for doing a combo. My niece’s Polish came off all of her fingers and some of her toes the next day it didn’t even last 24 hours! So disappointed! When I returned to complain to the manager she could have cared less and said I got charged for a sugar scrub but didn’t offer a refund. Never again and I would advise others to go someplace else.

Two stars because the staff is nice but the work was very lazy. They do not have water either, for a 25 dollar pedi they could at least have water available for customers, no excuse.

Very disappointed. Did a soak off of a gel manicure and then a regular manicure. The «manicure» was just a polish change, very rushed. The soak off did not do its job, the manicure on top of the nails in turn was not smooth at all which I did not notice until I left. A complete waste of money.

I’m not so happy. I went Monday the 26^th to get a manicure and a pedicure the tech didn’t remove the access polish around the skin of my nails or toes. She rushed through both my manicure and pedicure not to mention I have chipped nails. I could have done my own nails and toes. I would NOT recommend this nail establishment to anyone. I’d rather go into Wal-​Mart and give them a chance before I visit there again.

NO STARS. Absolute worst experience at a nail salon I’ve ever had. I took myself and my sister there only because the normal salon I go to is out of the way and I wouldn’t be able to make it there before they closed. So I decided to give this place a try, and I completely regret it.
We get there roughly an hour and a half before they closed, but that’s not to say that they weren’t packed. My sister and I started off with a pedicure each. Nothing special or fancy, just a normal pedicure. The people doing our pedicures kept pressuring my sister, who is 11 years old mind you, to add extra designs and up charges to which I had to decline multiple times. Then after the fast pedicures, which was done in quite the rush and not relaxing at all, my sister got a manicure and I got a new set. Again, the nail tech tried to persuade my sister into more up charges and again I had to decline repeatedly. Then when she asked for leopard print design, the nail tech didn’t even know what leopard print was! What?! When it came to my nails, I told the tech, who’s name was Q, that I wanted moderately short almond shaped nails with a light pink natural color she said she could do it. Only after BABY STEPPING her through how I wanted my nails (which I never should have had to do) she completely rushed through them and obviously did not take her time. I requested a simple Aztec print design on my ring finger and again she was completely confused at my request and after she did the design on my nails, she told me she didn’t like it!!! Not to mention the design itself was poorly executed. I had her take it off and was extremely pissed by this time. When she was done, she rushed my sister and I to the cash register where my total was $ 140!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That is absolutely outrageous! I can see about $ 90 or so, but that is absurd!
Now, after only a week later, my nails are lifting and the paint is chipping on both my sister and I! After paying $ 140 for mani-​pedis, I definitely did NOT get my money’s worth.
I will NEVER return to that place and I WILL tell EVERYONE about my HORRIBLE experience there.

One star is actually TOO generous! My $ 25.00 pedicure lasted less than 10 minutes. If I just wanted my feet washed, I could have done that in the bathroom sink. I had a manicure too, again, less than 10 minutes.
Tried to up-​sell me the entire time. Before even got my nails painted, they had someone sitting in my chair waiting for service.
There is a place in KCMO, OMG Nails by HyVee on Barry Road. They charge $ 25.00 for the pedicure and you can enjoy almost an hour of pampering.
My Nails are NOT So Happy, and I will never go back! EVER.
Separate issue: They only take cash for the tip. I really should have given the girl the $ 2.00 I had in my pocket. Instead, I used their IN STORE ATM and she asked me to pay cash for the services.
UGH. Just not professional. Extremely rushed, and if you don’t get «gel» anything, they are very unhappy.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

NO STARS if this site would let me! The worst experience at a nail salon. I took my daughter with me to get mani pedis and was not impressed. Not only was her pedi short, but the lady kept asking her if she wanted extra stuff like designs and scrubs AFTER I already told her no thanks. Her manicure was supposed to be a fill, but the lady suggested to redo her set so I said ok. THEN she kept asking my daughter if she wanted designs and special powders AFTER I said no thanks. Once we left, my daughter noticed that her nails were done poorly. Some of the nails were too big for her nail bed and they were not even. NEVER AGAIN will we go to that place to be harassed and have poor service.

I literally just left this place and I will never return. My pedicure was short, maybe 15 minutes at the most. And my toes look horrible! The paint job and design are horrible. I would not recommend this place

Went in for a mani pedi and the only positives were that the place was clean and the design on my toes were nice. Their prices were a bit high for the quality of work. They use cheap disposable pumice blocks and took only a few minutes to scrub both feet leaving rough and dry spots. They did a poor jub cleaning under my nails as they still had skin and were dirty when finished. My polish was uneven on my toes and my fingernail polish on my fingers came off within 18 hours and I wasn’t cleaning or washing dishes afterwards to cause it. I will not be back. This was the worst mani pedi I have ever had.

They did a GREAT job on my gel manicure and pedicure! Nice people. Very neat!

This is my ultimate favorite place to get my nails done. They are all friendly, pricing is pretty decent, and they always do a fantastic job.
One of the best technicians for getting tips is Stacy, she does and awesome job, and Rose is really great at doing Gel nails or Schlack.
They can get really busy around the weekend and of course the holidays, so if you want to get in you want to make an appointment in order to ensure that you get that day that you want. However if you can get away during the middle of the day almost anytime you can typically get in pretty fast.

Nails So Happy is my go to nail joint when visiting KS. I have been there several times, and my experience is consistently pleasing. Its no wonder this place is always hopping — great service, good prices and its very clean. The pedi’s & manis are always good and depending on who you get the calf and foot massage can range from OK to Mind blowing (no offense boys, but the ladies have you whipped here). No matter who does your nails they are always perfect — some places will not paint all the way to the sides of you fingers so the paint will chip away fast — not Nails So Happy — there really get in there, leaving you with perfect smooth finish that won’t chip.
On my most recent visit I got my eyebrows waxes and was giddy about the results — I love the shape and there is not a hair out of place AND it was only $ 10. — 5 stars for waxing services.
It doesn’t matter if you just need a color swap, or have a case of the ugly feet — the staff is super, the location is clean, and you will leave OH SO Happy!!!
