I eat an Noodles monthly & try to venture out of ordering the same menu item. My choice was the pesto capavetti(?) but as a buff. This item I got wasn’t ANYTHING like the description. No pesto and made with pork. The pork was very tender but lacked flavor. I added salt & suracha sauce to bring some life to it. Wouldn’t order it again as I was expecting a dish with pesto and hoping for chicken. Giving it 2 stars due to the fresh ingredients and tenderness of the pork.

This place is great for lunch! My 2 favorites are penne rosa and pasta Fresca. Wana know a secret? The type of noodle they use for the pasta Fresca has changed so if you want a good pasta Fresca I would ask for the pasta Fresca on penne noodle. Otherwise they’re also great with Togo orders! I’m definitely a regular here and love it

Just grabbed a salad for lunch. Large bowl but quantity was lame. Feels like BreadCo.

This Noodles location is usually consistently pretty good, but the last time I came, a group of us ordered buff bowls to-go, and there was barely any spinach in them compared to what they give you if you dine in. We were all still hungry after we were done eating. It can also get really crowded, so ordering ahead helps!

Terrible place! Never thought the noodles could be terrible like this. By the way, that is pasta no noodles.

It must be in the training videos about how to be passive aggressive and borderline rude for the employees of Noodles. My experiences at this on are similar to others. Food is OK, salads are pretty solid. Service is bare minimum require to be mediocre. The recent trip was with a friend who can’t eat gluten. She ordered her meal with gluten free noodles. When it came it had regular noodles. After she pointed it out, instead if quickly correcting the issue, she was asked if she ordered it that way. I find an inquisition over an order mistake ridiculous. Somewhere there was a communication break down, just fix the order. I rarely go to Noodles anymore because of the poor service. Sadly, they all appear to be the same.

Looking for a delicious lunch out while shopping on the plaza, my friend and I passed by Noodles and Co. and smelt the delicious aromas from inside! So we decided to give it a shot, and it was delicious! The service was very friendly and great and my choice of the pesto pasta was the perfect one! The large open windows and patio seating is perfect on a sunny day. Will definitely be coming back!

Normally my favorite restaurant but this particular location had one of the grosser bathrooms. The ladies room appeared to have blood(I can only guess where from…) dried in a the grout on the bathroom wall near the toilet. Not appetizing. Would avoid this location in the future.

Usually like this place, but tonight they got my order wrong, had too much sauce and cilantro on the pad Thai when they fixed it, then had sticky floors and no toilet paper. Ughh.

I love(most of) the food at Noodles, but there are other issues that I think need to be addressed before I’ll go the full 4 or 5 stars. I’ve been to both the Plaza location & the one at 75th& State Line several times. I usually order the Penne Rosa with Parmesan crusted chicken and shredded Parmesan on top. It’s always delicious, but it’s never the same. Sometimes it’s super spicy, sometimes it’s very mild, sometimes it’s absolutely loaded with chicken, and other times they really skimp on it. One time it had way less spinach than I’d had previously, so I told them to add extra– they did, at no charge. Then the next time, they charged me for it, without telling me. Not cool. I guess I’m just looking for some consistency in the food and the policies of add-ons. Even today at high noon, there was one cashier working. I’ve literally NEVER seen more than one cashier working. Why are there even 2 registers if there’s never anyone working one of them? It’s like they’re mocking us– ‘yes, we know it’s lunch time and it’s busy, but we aren’t going to hire enough staff, so go ahead and wait in that long line.’ It’s frustrating. They also have one of those high tech Coke machines that will make you any drink you want or can basically possibly conceive of, but they have ONE. The bare minimum a restaurant should have is two– one for people who’ve used it before and know what they’re doing, and one for people who are fascinated/confused by it and stand there for an interminable amount of time, while the line behind them backs up for a city block. They serve booze. So that’s nice. And Arizona tea, if that’s your thing. They also have yummy cookies and rice krispy treats. They’ve recently introduced appetizers, like potstickers and a hummus plate, but, sadly, they’re really underwhelming. Stick to what they do best– plates of pasta. The Penne Rosa is my go-to, my daughter thinks their Mac & Cheese is some of the very best, and both my mom and a friend are obsessed with the Japanese Pan Noodles.

Went here for dinner after a very bad Chinese food order I had to throw away thanks to my bro who told me that the Chinese place I ordered from is straight cummy(see my last review if you are interested). Anyways I got the Whole grain tuscan. They changed it up and its not as good. For some reason they put feta cheese on it now and it doesnt go well with it. Also the noodles were kinda hard. Staff was friendly, and I saw a really hot & yummy girl there too.

I went to Noodles & Company when a friend recommended it to me. Gotta say, I wasn’t that impressed. The noodles taste dry sometimes and it just feels like the dishes are just thrown together.

Decent service, person who brought our food was a little moody at first but noticed it herself and became a lot friendlier. Order the food at the counter then take a seat and they bring you your food. They’ll sometimes call the food a different name then what’s listed on the menu so you may not recognize your dish at first but they usually know the listed name as well. Price was decent for the amount, $ 11 for a bowl of soup, I had the Thai Hot Pot. Felt decently full afterwards and it wasn’t bad though I wouldn’t order it again, didn’t like the texture, a little too gritty for me. I’ve had different dishes there before and they were much better. Also it was very clean and didn’t have any overpowering smells. I would recommend the restaurant just not the dish I ordered.

Love me some noodles! Noodles & Co has a lot of dishes to choose from and a ton of veggies to add to your dish. Small and regular size bowls are available. I personally LOVE their tofu, it’s marinated so it’s always nice and tasty. They’re also really good about leaving items out or substitutions.

Pretty good for a «fast food» place. Probably one of the most random places I’ve ever been to. They serve American and Asian style noodles and they also have sandwiches. I had the pan fried Japanese noodles and the chicken noodle soup. The noodles were more spicy than sweet, but still good. There wasn’t enough carrots, mushrooms or broccoli, so ask for extra. I added the steak and it wasn’t really that great. Save the $ 2.50 and do without it. I got a regular and it was the perfect size. The soup was decent. Big pieces of noodles and a few pieces of chicken. It was the perfect combo with the noodles. It was a good place to come grab a quick dinner and I would come back here again.

At the time of this review, this place averaged a 3 star rating. I think it deserves more than that. It’s a great idea to serve such a large variety of cuisines in such a small location. There are four cuisines to choose from: American, Asian, Italian and Mediterranean. The dishes are also simple enough to be decent and consistent. I had the linguine and thought it was good. Is it Michelin-rated top-New York-restaurant quality? No, but at around 5 bucks, it’s hard to beat. It’s semi-fast food in terms of speed, so it’s perfect if you’re in a time crunch. Plus, customer service is fantastic. The family at the next table had a kid that didn’t like his noodles. The server said that she would gladly change it for something else the kid wanted to try. And she did it with a smile. How’s that for great attitude?!

Noodles & Company invited Kansas City area food writers and bloggers to a special tasting of their new limited time only grown up Mac & Cheese flavors. I’d like to thank Josh, Ryan and the entire Plaza location staff for their hospitality and free goodies. Noodles & Company currently has a Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, their number one seller, on the current menu. Noodles used this item as a base to create Truffle Mac with Baby Portabellas(«Fancy Pants»), Bacon Mac & Cheeseburger(«Hearty») and Southwestern Chili Mac(«Spicy»). These three flavor were created by Noodles & Company corporate chef Tessa Samper. The following is a brief description of the flavors and my personal tasting notes: Truffle Mac with Baby Portabellas(white truffle oil, house made bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley) My notes: different sauce base than other macs, very strong mushroom flavors, saltiest of the three Bacon Mac & Cheeseburger(smokey bacon, beef meatballs, cheddar jack cheese, toasted bread crumbs, roma tomatoes, green onions) My notes: quality tomatoes, texture contrasts in crunchy bacon and velvety pasta, missing tart pickles, my favorite mac of the three Southwestern Chili Mac(spicy red chili, beef meatballs, cheddar jack cheese, green onions) My notes: not many beans, tastes like a chili dog, mushy, medium spicy level These grown up Mac & Cheese flavors are available for a LIMITEDTIMEONLY and are worth a try for $ 7.95.
