Consistently serves short servings of a great tasting product. I didn’t get even 2 fingers of custard on my turtle(~$ 6) today. I won’t be back to this location.

This place has really great old fashioned candies and very different blends of ice cream. I recommened the lady bug ice cream. They also have fudge, and normal day candy too. The only thing to note is that the prices can be a little steep.

This place is so great, there are so many different flavors to choose from and the staff(Luann especially) is so sweet, I have never been in an icecream store that they know my name! I definitely recommend this to any icecream lovers

I agree with the other reviews, it is a bit pricey, but it is a quality product. We tried a scoop of vanilla(we can be BORING sometimes) and a little piece of chocolate. Both were tasty, but truth be told, I still prefer Sheridan’s, where I can get a concrete.

This is a great little candy and ice cream store, selling Sylas and Maddie’s ice cream(some of my personal favorites, made right here in Kansas). The aroma of the candy and the waffle cones hits you as you walk in the door and the décor is set-up to look like an old-fashioned soda fountain and general store(in this case providing only sweet treats). The ice cream delicacies are a little pricy, but you are paying for the great ingredients and small batch production of Sylas and Maddies, so it is totally worth it(a little of this goes a long way). I ordered two– nut-jammed flavors, praline and Graduation Day(with cashews and caramel); both were delicious. And, although I did not get it, they do offer a 5-mini scoop tester bowl, fo those of you who tested all the flavors(at least 20 or so), and still could not decide.

I came here with my dad and brother after we went shopping and ate at the T-Rex Café. I got a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream, while my dad and brother got more complicated, waffle cone, multiple scoop combinations. It was a little pricey for ice cream– I would say in the range of Cold Stone Creamery. I think that the 3 us totaled about $ 15. It did smell really good in there, like another Unilocaler said. The staff was very friendly and we got our order pretty quickly. It was fun to walk around the store and look at all the different kinds of candy they have available. I’m not a big candy person, but if I ever need any, I will most likely come here. The décor was more of an old fashioned style, with metal white chairs and tables and a checkered tile floor(I believe so, anyway). I would certainly recommend Palmer’s after a long day of shopping– ice cream always seems to rejuvenate the soul!

I have this thing with getting ice cream after dining only if I am walking around shopping etc. Palmers invited us in with their adorable sign and then had me with 40 flavors of homemade ice cream. They also sell delicious looking chocolates and little dessert things. The place smelled sooo good. I couldn’t decide what flavor to get and finally decided on a cookies and cream style two scoops in a dish. The ice cream was really rich and smooth and you could tell it was homemade. It was a little pricier – around 5 bucks for two smaller scoops, but it was worth it!
