A perfect Sunday morning brunch. This place os right down the street from where I live and i hate leaving the house to adventure out on Sundays but this place is bomb! The carnitas are the specialty here and sell out super fast so get there early! They also have good corn tamales if your looking for something sweet. Cheap! Everything here is cheap too i paid 5 bucks for dinner… id choose this over any dollar menu by far!

If you want to get carnitas, make sure you get there early, because they go fast. The location is actually 32^nd Street & Strong, across from Industrial State Bank.
Pepe’s tiene comida estilo Michoacan — carnitas, birria, tamales, uchepos. Las carnitas se agotan rapido, asi q llega temprano si quieres alcanzar. Las tortillas hechas a mano estan deliciosas.

Okay, s in looks Pepe’s would probably get two stars. OH don’t get me wrong, this place is clean but its pretty bland in looks. Just tables and chairs, white walls with a few ad posters. But, in flavor, this place gets four stars! Wow what a mouthful! I enjoy picking up breakfast there on Sundays! Oh, you must be wondering what kind of food they sell. Ha ha. Okay I’ll tell you. CARNITAS! Oh how to explain it to you. Hmm okay I’ll try. It is Mexican style shredded pork. It is cooked in a large, huge pot with blends of different spices and sometimes freshly squeezed orange juice. And it is slowly cooked for hours and hours. The Ultimate result is juicy tender pork that just satisfies your taste buds. You can order it alone to go or purchase fresh homemade corn tortillas or bread. And you can have your carnitas in form of tacos or a torta (hoagie sandwich). Either way they are very very good. Try it.
