Dr Rupp is fantastic. He is on time, has as top notch staff, and is just a great personable doctor. He explains skin terms in words I can understand. He tells me In an simple and effective way to apply treatment to my psoriasis. His bedside manor is great, and even when I have to show«private areas» He is very professional and discreet. It takes a long time to get in to see him, so don’t get frustrated. However, I would be leery of a dermatologist that has no backlog of patients. If you need a dermatologist in KCMO, look no further!

Looking for a good dermatologist? I know when I was trying to find one it was like trying to find a new gyno. NOTFUN. I have skin damage. Lots and lots of skin damage, well earned after spending the bulk of my teenage — 30 years deep frying out in the sun. All you young whipper snappers will arrive at the horrifying conclusion I have one day. And when that day comes, you’ll be looking for someone swift of blade and quick with the stitches. Dr. Rupp is, indeed, that man. He takes a no-prisoner’s approach to taking care of moles. No mole mapping in HIS office. His philosophy is if you have a mole that either you or he thinks needs to be watched, then he’d rather just get rid of it. Why watch it grow? Get rid of it now before it becomes a problem. I like it. He has removed many moles from me and he’s seen corners of my body that even I’VE never seen. But thank goodness SOMEONE’S checking those places out! No one wants melanoma creeping up on them. He’s super nice, quick, and always willing to sit and answer your questions. The office even has an automated line for you to call in and get your pathology results. Easy! I’d give him 5 stars, but really… who likes to get sliced and diced? It’s not like I LIKE going here. But I feel better because I do.
