I agree with KIM S. to a certain degree. It really bothers me, as a Dotte Resident, to shop in one area of town, and the facilities and product are much better than a similar store in what can be designated as, «the ‘Hood» or an area of lower income, etc. I don’t understand why Corporate doesn’t take care of the stores on equal terms. I do use the store at 81st and State more often because I am near that store more often and the on on Metropolitan. I will continue to preach this mantra about the inequality of the way owners take care of their business in different parts of town. Another example is the difference between the way corporate takes care of the Lowe’s in the Dotte and the one just across the county line in Roeland Park.

One of the few things that makes me sad is when there is such a noticeable difference between a store in urban areas and its counterparts in other areas. This store consistently has less product, sadder looking produce and doesn’t look as clean as its sister stores on 81st or Metropolitan. While the staffing are friendly enough, I have been disappointed enough when I come here that I cannot say that I would ever return even for a bargain.
