Snapshots Gun Shop

I stopped in to look at weapons for home defense and personal protection. We are not gun nuts, or doomsday preppers so I was very pleased when the owner John went through many options and asked very good questions to help me select the proper weapons.
John and his sales people were very friendly and extremely happy to answer all my newbie questions. I wanted to make sure the choices I made fit my wife as well — we both came back the same day and the staff were excellent at helping my wife and showing her how to handle, load and be comfortable with the weapons.
John and his staff are great. We purchased two weapons and are very satisfied with the choices they helped us make. You might be able to buy cheaper online — but you can’t get the service and expertise online. Supporting local businesses is also important to me.

«EXCELLENT» !!! I think not! This place is a joke and their business practices need to be put on blast! I’ve been in this shop to price a few firearms and have been quoted some outrageous prices. In all fairness I have bought a couple of accessories from these guys because they did match amazons price.
The FINAL STRAW minus the camel:
After calling a couple of shops to price night sight installation on my glock, I just assumed these jokers would be in the same 20 $ Range. Head down with my sights (purchased online) and my glock. Ask the guy at the counter if they have time to do the install and he says no problem it’ll take about 5 min. He heads to the back and pops back out around 5−10min. I ask him what the damage is… his reply…$ 80!!! :/:/:/:/ I reply «is that a joke»…nope night sight installation is $ 80. My reply… that’s f%+kin Bull***t. His reply is that they can take them back off! Yes let’s do that. Have a nice day and yes… I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place.
I’m sorry angry gun shop price gouging guy! The days of putting up with d**khead shop owners is over.
There are so many other options so do check around before going here.

They have one of the finest gunsmiths here. He is EXCELLENT. He was recommended by the people who taught my CCW class, and the instructors are former law enforcement and teach a HUGE variety of gun classes all over Kansas and Missouri. Snap Shots has a decent inventory of pistols and long guns, some ammo and a some supplies. WE have been treated well on the five or six occasions we have gone there.
