I’ve had great experiences here, I enjoy my monthly facials and Brazilian waxes while getting a microdermabrasion treatment every once in awhile. The customer service is great and the staff is more than accommodating to your needs.

Do no go here!!! I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal. I did everything I was told and made my appointments regularly. I saw no results and and around my second to last time, the technician informed me that the machine was not on the correct setting, when I mentioned how I NEVER felt any pain or sensation. I mean, I literally only felt the cold metal on my skin. So she then changed the setting and I finally felt the laser doing it’s work. Unfortunately, too little too late. So I had no results from the time I spent. I decided to give them another shot with a brazilian. I mean, this is something I could do at home, if I could reach and see, so it should be pretty simple for someone who went to school for it, right? Wrong! The girl was nice, but holy moly did she miss A LOT of hair! I was amazed. How could she have felt that was okay? I ended up shaving when I went home. That’s how much hair was left. At first, I thought maybe she has bad vision. Or maybe the light wasn’t working in her favor. After a bit of thinking about it, I decided this place just seriously sucks. My Groupon was for two brazilians and I didn’t even go back for the second. I have seriously never had a worse brazilian, P. S. I, in fact, have done a better job on myself.

The membership fee is ridiculous and the receptionist on the phone was frustrated going over this with me and kept trying to get me to come in. Explain your prices clearly up front, otherwise no one has the time to play a guessing game. The person answering the phone on April 9 at 1 pm would have sold me had she tried to, rather than be a snot. Taking business elsewhere.

I really wish I could say some nice things about Spa Catalina. Let’s get the bad stuff out of the way first. Most importantly, the end result of having the laser hair removal — not good. I went to my appointments within the 4 – 6 week window for best results. I didn’t tan, or do anything that would alter the effects of the treatments. Yet, my hair continued to grow back and back and back. Finally, at my last appointment, I had a different tech and she observed that I should have had the laser that’s for dark haired clients! Did no one observe before that my hair is dark brown? She used that one on me, and it was more intense, but who cares? I finally saw some real results. The only problem was… I had now wasted a year’s appointments on ineffective treatments. Was this all to get me to buy more sessions? Maybe. Or maybe they didn’t pay attention to what they were doing before. Either way, it was a waste of time away from my small child and a waste of money. The best thing I can say is that when you walk in, the smell of lavender is so relaxing and nice. You are usually greeted right away as well. Wait times aren’t bad, but getting in for appointments can be a little«hairy» haha sometimes. The facility appears to be clean, too. :) I would not return to Spa Catalina.
